'House' Recruits 'Six Feet Under' Actor

House will be adding yet another character that may become increasingly important in the medical drama's upcoming fifth season. Michael Weston has signed on for a multi-episode arc on the FOX series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Weston, whose TV credits include appearances on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Simon Marsden, Scrubs as recurring character Private Brian Dancer and Six Feet Under as Michael C. Hall's psychotic pursuer Jake, is set to play "a private investigator who is intelligent, but not as abrasive as Dr. House." TV Guide, which first reported the casting news, reveals that this role could possibly lead to Weston's own spin-off show.

Why would there be a private investigator on House for multiple shows? What has House done now?

What hasn't House done? Also, let me take this opportunity to say that last night's episode was one amazing hour of television.

The show doesn't need to add a new character. There are already too many on the show.

You're right, the show was awesome last night. Now we have to wonder if Wilson can ever forgive House and if he can ever forgive himself.
