House Season Four PanelFor three remarkable seasons, House has relied on the finely polished interplay between the crass genius, his team, his patients, and the politics of medicine.  For weeks now the grapevine has been buzzing with cast changes that seem, from one angle, to point towards House's usual crew of Foreman (Omar Epps), Cameron (Jennifer Morrison), and Chase (Jesse Spencer) either being replaced, or leaving the show altogether.  At the House Panel held today as part of Fox's Television Critics Press Tour, new light was shed on just what all this casting means for the format of the show.

I'm glad we're getting a respite from OE, JS, and JM and really could care less if they come back. Now if we could just replace Doris Egan with Katie Jacobs my House world would be perfect.

Why no mention of Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard)?

Even though the show is called HOUSE, MD., many of us love the other characters too. If Chase/Jesse Spencer ever leaves, so will I. His performance is the one that captured my attention in the first episode I saw. It sounds like House is going to turn into a circus. Why mess with a formula that has captured about 20 million viewers? Shark jumping already?

I don't want Chase, Cam and Foreman in the background for half a season and I'm sick of House acting like an immature jerk. Hate to say this but this show has jumped the shark...

I am thrilled with this news! I watch for House and as long as he, Cuddy, and Wilson remain, I am looking forward to new underlings. I think we've learned just about as much about House as we can from Chase/Cameron/Foreman.

This is kind of retarded.
The whole reason I watched, and bought, three seasons of House was so I could enjoy the House-Wilson-Chase-Cuddy-Foreman-Cameron dynamics. The writers had plenty of room to manoever interesting !@#!@ into the respective relationships between characters, this 4th season is going to be as lame as "Scrubs" but with a cranky lead character. Which, in a word, is going to really, really suck. We don't want a freaking hospital SOAP OPERA. I give it a month before I say, F this S and never watch it again.

Look I will miss those crazy "kids" as much as the next guy, but in a real teaching hosiptal situation the underlings move on to bigger and better, be happy for them and get ready to welcome the new "kids". I admit I was certainly not expecting the whole team to go, but I have been hoping for some new blood on the show. Watching house pick on the same team is like watching him fix the same paitents. Any true fan of house knows the house world revolves around...guess who HOUSE! I am soo looking forward to the new jokes and snide comments he will come up with for his new "kids". As far as I am concerned as long as Cuddy yells and house does what he wants anyway he can pick on any team he wants.

There's nothing "new" or groundbreaking planned for next season. They're just trying to turn House into Simon Cowell. It's a pity, this show could have been great.
