The production for the television adaptation of Noel Botham’s novel, “The Murder of Princess Diana”, has begun. The made-for-tv movie will be shown on the Lifetime network, with Working Title TV behind the productions. The film will feature House star Jennifer Morrison.
Morrison, who is known for her portrayal of Dr. Allison Cameron on the popular medical drama, has been cast in the role of an American journalist who bears witness to the tragic car crash which took the life of Britain’s beloved Princess of Wales and her partner, Dodi Fayed. Diana’s unexpected death left many wondering about the true nature of the accident, which gave way to a number of conspiracy theories. To date, at least 30% of Britain’s citizens still question the circumstances surrounding Diana’s demise.
