Extremely talented, Hugh Laurie's exceptional performance garners him countless positive recognitions from a number of award giving bodies. Awarded for Best Actor in a Television Drama for the Golden Globe and SAG in 2007, he certainly becomes a precious asset on the hit series House.

Let's not forget his incredible musical talent too! He plays the piano, guitar (slide, acoustic and electric), saxophone and drums...and all of them well. He has written quite a few songs of which "Mystery" is my favorite. The lyrics go like this...

"Mystery
All my life has been a mystery
You and I were never ever meant to be
That's why I call my love for you a mystery

Different country
You and I have always lived in a different country
And I know that airline tickets don't grow on a tree
So what kept us apart is plain for me to see

I adore his acting! He does the character he plays so well, I wouldn't suggest another actor for Dr. House to any other actor on the face of the planet. I hope he has many days of television drama acting ahead of him, I'll be there to watch it!

I love, love, love this man - he is an incredibly gifted actor, speaks our English like a pro, is gorgeous to look at and has the most amazing blue eyes ever. I really love it when he speaks in his own British accent - wish he could do that on the show. There's nothing about Hugh Laurie not to love. A fan for life from Oklahoma!

yes hugh laurie rocks. he's so incredibly talented. i can watch house md again again just because of him. i wished i knew him personally- having a conversation with hugh would be like dying and going to heaven. he's so interesting, and is voice.. , i could probably listen to him drone on about physics or chemistry, and i would do so well on those subj. i wish the strike would end soon, then house cn continue
