Micah's Power Theory

Hey all

Ok since Tim Kring mentioned Micah has powers, but didn't specifically say WHAT powers.

I made my own theory, and i have thought about endless possibilities but this is far out the best i could come up with


As we already know Micah is EXTREMELY smart, creating a frikkin motherboard for a computer and stuff.
And i refer to the kid as The Boy Genius.

As i saw the preview im getting more sure about him having powers, so the following possibility might be true.



Niki has an Alter Ego, first few episodes she was in the mirror only, but the last episode she sat next to her, which means they can be apart.
Her Alter Ego can be in different places as well, without Niki knowing it.

D.L. has the ability to phase, getting through walls etc, or any other object. He can stand in a wall and look at you, without you even noticing he is there.


As Children basically have the same DNA as their parents, why would we outclude the fact that the powers of both his parents have passed on to their son?

Micah always seem to know stuff about his parents, he mentioned that the cops couldnt find his dad, and weren't you surprised how D.L. knew that Niki stripped on cam? Although she didn't say anything about it, doesn't mean she had told him before. (Doesn't have to be correct though)

He knows both his parents have secrets, and it seemed like he knows everything, about how his dad was doing etc.



So here i got something about Micah his power:



What about Micah have BOTH Niki and D.L. their powers.

The combination of Alter Ego and Phasing, which could make him have an Alter Ego that could Phase as well.

While being at home, his Alter Ego Phases through walls, and no one can see him, that is the way he gets his information and knows everything.

He sets his AE free and basically cause of the Phasing it gets invisible and see and hear things without other people knowing he is around.

That is really interesting, and pretty creative. The only thing with that is, how did Nikki and DL get their powers? If it is passed from one generation to another, then couldn't that mean that DL's mother have some powers herself? I am not discrediting your theory at all, in fact, that is a wonderful theory. I just think that his power would probably be something opposite of what his parents can do because that is the way these things go in show/movies like these.

I know where you coming from with how did Niki and D.L. inherit their powers.

Remember, some people are just BORN being capable of extraordinary abilities, like me, i am highly gifted with an high IQ (As my dad was a soccer player but was dumb, and my mom isnt the brighest one either.)as Mohinder mentioned. An evolution has to start somewhere, and mostly starts from scrap.

If none of the parents of Niki or D.L. has powers, means they are the first breeds of having new evolutionairy powers, which explains that they could've passed it on to Micah.

Somehow i think this theory might really be his powers, he seperates his mind from his body, which results in an Alter Ego that can Phase, his Alter Ego is not bad, as most Alter Ego's are, so i think he has the power to split his Personality in 2 seperate characters, with the other one just as cute and innocent as Micah with the ability of his father.

It's pretty obvious that he knew she did this before, and then her saying that "she wasn't the same person anymore.." alerted him to the fact she's doing it again.

Yes, and no, it wasn't the first time she's seen both reflections in the mirror. As well, they were both only visible to her.

I think His power might just be more subtle then the rest, perhaps allowing him to learn things fast, retain knowledge, or something else like that.

That's an interesting theory.Maybe the combination of Alter Ego and Phasing will create another power.

Well here is just my 2 cents worth on the ideas.
I think thats true but also maybe he is kind of like Xavier from X-Men. Remember he can sense other Mutants, and SUPER INTELLIGENT building all kinds of machines, gadgets and also able to control other mutants through mind control (if he chose to). B)
I saw someone earlier said a Girl on X-Men. The only 2 females I can think of close to this is ROGUE and she would probably be more like Sylar because she could absorb/steal other mutants powers. So I don't think our lil soon to be hero Micah would be like that. The other was JEAN who shared some of the same powers as Xavier and also had a vicious alter ego PHONEIX and telekenetic powers. So that would be kind of a mix between his parents. He would inherit their powers, but since he is next generation his powers have evolved further and appeared at an earlier age. Their abilities may have just been dormant because as you see all the adults are older, Claire is the ONLY young one with powers, all the others seem to be in their very late 20's-30's. So it seems through generations the time abilities show up is shortened and have evolved to more complicated abilities than just walking through a wall. Regeneration to me is a more advanced skill, and super human intelligence, telekenisis abilites are more advanced than that.
Micah is going to be the boy genius with these additional Xavier/Jean abilities. Suresh didnt understand all the garble on the computer, but that is Micah's things. So This is all just my opinion. He will be able to understand the program, and has the ability to "sense" other Heroes and from the look on his face in the previews for next week sepisode 7, he may have some mind control abilities? Again just my opinion. :unsure:

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver and Polaris can not control metal, even though Magneto is their father. Each of Magneto's children has a totally different superpower.

So I'm guessing Micah will have a different power too.

Which theory? I think that Micahs power will be a Hybrid of his 2 parents like I suggested. Maybe an Xavier and Jean/Phoneix mix of ability.


As for Nikki, is anyone familiar with Dorian Gray? What do you think about that although his "alter ego" per say was always on the outside, and the Real Dorian seemd to be the painitng because it aged and all the things that should have happened to him happen to the painting. Only thing is, he cant look at the painting. Im refering to her seemingly superhuman strength and maybe being imperlvelant (so far) to injury.
