As you may know, they aired an extra-long taping of "Heroes" at Comic-Con. I had the privelage of seeing it. I skimmed through the version of the Pilot I saw online (I didn't have the time to watch the whole thing.) There were some things that I know were in the version I saw and not in that one. If/when I get the time to look through it more thoroughly, I may notice more, or I may notice I was completely wrong (I'm sure you'll all correct me soon Micah runs away. I didn't see that in the video, so I thought I'd post it. Where he's going? Last I noticed, he was going somewhere in Utah. Perhaps to see his father. (Who perhaps is D.L. Hawkins? I can't remember what, but something said at Comic-Con made me think that...) Hiro later, when riding a subway, sees an add promoting people to come visit New York. Apparently he thinks it's a good idea, and teleports himself there! I think him celebrating the success is seen in some previews. Matt not only is having marriage trouble, but keeps trying to become SWAT(I think - something above cop), but keeps failing due to his health/weight (or so his wife says.) Also, the first scene with him had him helping them find a criminal inside a house (he could find them from their thoughts.) There was some man whose name I can't remember who also seemed to have power. If I am remembering correctly, he emitted radiation from his hands. It seemed to be something he couldn't stop, and he said it was enough to kill those close to him. He kept his hands (which seemed a bit.. odd looking...) wrapped up in cloth. That is what I can remember. If all of that was stuff already known, I apologize. That was all that I saw that I didn't see as I looked through the episode, though not well.

Okay! I wasn't sure seeing how I only looked through it quickly (I'd like to wait to see it again - call me weird!) Yes, unless I was just going crazy I could have sword there was someone who at least said they emitted radiation from their hand, or at least something like it, and proved it by grabbing a glass of water, which quickly began to boil or so it seemed. I can also remember he was being questioned by someone in some dark place. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't D.L. Hawkins (partly because it doesn't look like him and partly because I don't think this guy could walk through walls.) I'm really sorry, I wish I could remember more about the character (like a name LOL). But if he is a character that stays throughout the series I know I would enjoy it. I found him to be quite interesting...

Okay... Good to know... As I said, I wasn't sure at all... I'm thinking the guy I talked about earlier isn't going to be a main character. Or else, it seems, there would be some mention of him on the site or something. At least, I would think so...

I probably should have looked through it a little more closely. I do remember that the guy I keep talking about is connected to Matt's story, so you'll probably see him about the same time.

Futon Critic link here The above link was the futon critic's review of the Heroes showing at Comic Con. At the very end, they tell the differences between the 72 minute showing and the 50-some minute showing. I don't know if this has been posted elsewhere on this forum, so please forgive me if it is. I just figured this was an appropriate thread to post the link. [edit] Yes, this site has been posted by Travis before in "Experience the Extraordinary". I've been away a while, so I'm trying to catch up [/edit]
