[possible spoiler] Peter and Sylar

This thread is about the 'faith' of Peter and Sylar. All reactions / ideas / SPOILERS welcome!

Ok the reason I said "possible spoiler" is because this is NOT confirmed...
Also reactions given MAY be spoilers..
Anyway..

It's been said Peter and Sylar will face each other at the end of the volume. They also said some people might dislike how things will turn out.

My theory in short:
Peter will get his empathic mimicry back.
Sylar will die.

My theory in long:
How will Peter stand a chance against Sylar? What's he gonna do? Fly him to death?
That's right.. So that means he must get his empathic mimicry back.
If they really will face each other, this time something MUST happen, right? It will most likely end with someone dying. Imo SYLAR...
I hope both of them stay alive but I'm pretty sure one of them won't.

How will Peter get his real power back? Big chance: Matt Junior.
Although.. The little guy made Hiro's power work, but not to the fullest. Also, does Hiro's power work when he doesn't have the baby around him? I don't see Peter fighting with a baby in his arms...
What else is there? Hmm.. Perhaps Claire's healing ability can fix Peter his true power?
As we remember that Adam told Peter that healing can fix his mind, perhaps it can fix his power too? (Claire's blood once fixed Sylar's ability and the end of volume 2...)
What about Ando's supercharging? No chance imo... He once supercharged Matt and Daphne, and it only works for the moment so..

OR
he WON'T get his empathic mimicry back and he will be slaughtered by Sylar.
(starting to doubt about that, now since Hayden wants Milo out of the show, we don't know her influence on the writers)..

I just hope he stays in to get overpowered again, it's so awsome to have this really overpowered good guy. More action with powers should make the show more fun.. I mean I love to see Matt in action, also Sylar but his fights never take long

just to answer the baby question. The baby being in hiro's arms has nothing to do with hiro being able to use his power. The baby did turn it on but that's the only role he played in my opinion. Everything else the baby turned on was on un til turned off. The robot the plane the tv were all on until hiro turned off or until the baby turned off.

Yeah, if you's bothered to read Behind The Eclipse every week like me (I'm sad, I know, but it's an interview with the writers, clears A LOT up) you'd know Hiro can stop time independently of Matt Jnr, and also that there's no plans for Peter meeting Matt Jnr this season. What they actually said made me worried Peter won't get his powers back which I think he has to otherwise who's gonna stop Sylar?

I like to think we saw the beginnings of Peter getting his old empathic mimicry back in this episode. I've said before I think his de-powering is down to his own shortcomings, the lack of empathy he's feeling as a person is preventing his power from working as it used to. He seemed to let some of his anger go in this episode though, and reconciled with his mother which I think was a big step. He's still an empathic person just he's struggling to feel that as much as he used to.

true, and i agree, but what is it that is going to "turn off" hiro's power unless it is taken again?

i think his power is "on" and ando needs to supercharge him. like a power-up. it goes with my hiro/ando super hero-comic-nerd-hero's journey theory.

also i think baby matt inherited his dad's "ability gets cool as it evolves" gene, and this IS NOT the end of the baby. secondly, because of the fact that matt is matt, and he is a sappy somahbitch.

he used to be a caring nurse, now he's what, like a guy on the run with anger?

perhaps it would be cool if one episode he wakes up and says: i dreamed the future..
that would be like: AMG HES BACK

did they really say that he won't get his empathic mimicry back? he WILL face sylar in a few episodes ... what will happen? sylar can easily kill him :s

Well someone asked what would happen if baby Matt were to touch Peter, could it make his old power go, and the writers said the baby with Peter would be an interesting scenario, but not one for this season. At the same time they did also say we'd see Peter and Sylar face off against each other again and I can't see how that would work without Peter having his old power back... Mind you, they did say we wouldn't like the outcome.

ok so this might be a spoiler, im not sure. it could go down one of four ways, how i see it. all of which i dont know how it will end, but i can venture a guess.
1) heres scenario one. we don't see it, but peter did meet up with hiro, ando, and baby matt. like maybe baby matt made peter work, then peter went to go fight sylar, and eveyone thinks all he could do is fly, but really he has all his abilities back. then peter whoops his ass. then next season we see a flashback of him and the baby.
2) scenario two. the theory you guys were talking about. he brings peace and love back into his heart and he gets his powers back, which i think would be soooo freeking stupid. thats sort of retarded for the writters to put that in. the powers should be powered by emotions, but not lack there of. peter has super fking rage in him that he could open up and whoop some A double s. but no, you have to be happy to use your powers...
3) peter just touches sylar and takes his powers... boom! peter now has empathetic mimicry and all or sylars powers including healing. this would be so-so to me. id have to see how it plans out.
4) and finally, scenario four. to me, the most likely, but the most dissapointing. Sylar kills nathan, takes his fyling ability, and shapeshifts into nathan. then, when peter finally trusts nathan again, boom! its sylar with a mask on. then they fight, no one dies, except peters pride. cause sylar will prob kick his face in, then sylar will spare him, and be like, join my side peter. then peter is faced with this ultimate deision of joining sylar, who looks like nathan, or not. then sylar will prob get stuck in nathans form and never be able to turn back to his old self. thus making the actor that plays nathan be able to stay on the show, but with him being sylar instead of zachary quinto.
sad i know, but that last part, im not sure if it will happen.

1. What if Peter took Andos ability so he could super charge his own power? Maybe with his super charged power he could take more than 1 ability.

2. Or if Peter took Matt Parkman's babys ability and then he could turn on all the abilities he lost like Hiro.

My idea is unlikely to be the writers' course, but I'd like to see a scene where Sylar end's up holding Matt Junior before a bunch of incapacitated heroes and other characters. He'd be toying with them and playing with the baby in some sort of sadistic Sylarish mind game. Then Baby-Touch-And-Go does a Touch-and-No-Go and shuts off all of Sylar's powers.

Then Danko or HRG (or Peter or Matt) kicks the living daylights out of him.
