| in the begigning of the episode entitiled "Cold Snap", we find ourselves watching the hunter shave in the dark. he hears the door open, then he sees Doyle the pupet master drugged hanging in his living rooom with a note that says heres a gift for you. at the very end of the episode entitled "Shades of Gray", we see Sylar hiding around a corner in Drako's appartment. put two and two together and we have sylar breaking into the hunters house with Doyle and somehow not being noticed. then, while the hunter shaves, Sylar quickly puts Doyle up then runs out the front door causing the alarm to go off. so why would Sylar want to befreind the hunter? does he want immunity from being captured? does he want to trick the hunter into a false sense of security? or does he just want to betray those with powers so that he could be the last one, and the strongest. what i think is that sylar wants to help the hunter get people, and as a reward, sylar gets to have some of the powers that the hunter has down in the lab. doesnt make sense because sylar could just get his own people, but maybe he just wants powered people out of the way... i dont know.. whats your theories. oh and where the hell is luke?

| This will probably all be cleared up in the traditional flashback episode of the volume later on. Not too hard to imagine how it plaed out, though. Sylar surprised Danko and tried to intimidate him before getting started. Danko attacked Sylar's most vulnerable weakness, his fragile insecure ego, and taunted him to prove he was more dangerous than some of the other villains the operation was after. Now Sylar's got something to prove. Sylar's dad almost got the best of him with similar mind games, but in the end Sylar can overcome superior manipulation just because he's too powerful. Miss a few episodes? Sylar told him to get lost in "Exposed". Luke's probably gone for now, maybe permanently. |

| I hope Luke comes back, i think he may develop in to a decent character if the writers will let him....

| first of all, i didnt miss any episodes. oh im almost certain that he will. they can never just bring in a character like that, the only person to get thta close to Sylar, except Angela Petrelli, and make him just vanish. hes comin back, and hes comin back in a big way. i already know its gonna happen. they cant just get rid of him by saying, "hey you, scat, get out out of here you!"

| “Will we ever find out more about Samson and Luke's relationship, and why Samson was (apparently) so nice to Luke? “ Not during this volume. No. But it’s a story waiting to be told. We haven’t seen the last of Luke in the “Heroes” Universe. Interview from comicbookresources.com |

| Just a theory, and probably not a great one, I think Luke is Samson's son. Just because of the way Luke was telling Sylar about how his father did terrible things to him and then telling Sylar that he wasn't going to get what he was looking for from his father. Plus it would add another layer to why Luke was trying so hard to connect with Sylar. |

| I get the "Father - Son" thing, but IMHO, it's a little too cliche. I think they should be neighbors, but he was LIKE a father to him, which pisses off Sylar. |

| i could see samson being lukes father, i could, but like wecanbeheroes stated, its way too cliche. plus an old dude like that plugging a woman like lukes mom... it just doesnt work out. theres like a twenty year diff. i guess if you rewind the clocks about eighteen years, i could see it happen... but i dont know. it probably will end up that luke and sylar are half siblings... but we'll have to wait and see.

| sylar is doing it all for power as per the convo he had with his father. sylar felt a tad inferior when told he only hunts prey weaker then him. i think his ultimate goal is to run the government like he did in 5 Years Gone. |
