OK, last night's episode of Heroes was pretty damn awesome. As someone who disliked the majority of season 2, maybe it's just that my expectations were so low, but I loved nearly every minute of it. The stuff with Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and his showdown with Elle (Kristen Bell) was fun, and it was great to see her character turn the corner from villain to Hero. Then, of course, you have the actions in Odessa, and every interaction and plot shift was exciting. We all knew two people were going to die, and we all kind of knew Niki (Ali Larter) was one. But with so many possible deaths (Sylar, Maya, West), I never expected they've haul off and kill dear, sweet Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar). He was so tragically underused this season that I was confident they were saving up for a big storyline in volume 3, but I guess not. To read the rest, click here.

Ok. This season ending was better than Season 1's and I did enjoy it, but the writers lack of the big picture continues to bug the heck out of me.(1) Peter could have stopped time and let he and Adam just waltz in.(2) Peter could have teleported he and Adam in.(3) OK - if he did not remember how to do 1 or 2 he COULD have phased both himself and Adam into the vault!!!!!!(4) Why did he NEVER try to read Adam's mind? That is really lame.(5) When Sylar ran out the door they had the "find anyone, anywhere" girl right there who had just used her power. DUH. (6) If any normal person knew they could mimic anything they saw and were given an ipod with hundres of cool things on it they would sit down and go through the whole thing as fast as they could. Why does Monica just wait to look in the heat of things? "Oh, wait. Maybe there is something on here that could help me out here!" You think?Things like this have driven me crazy this whole season. The writers just don't think things thro

i agree Odeto, Heroes if famous for doing dumb things like that. Like when West took Claire flying near the school grounds at the beginning of the season, as if nobody else cut class. You mean to tell me nobody saw them. Anywhose Volume 2 gets a B .....What really is bugging me is what happened to Caitlin.

I think the Villains might be some foreshadowing to each of the Heroes being tested and showing us where their allegiances ultimately fall. Who will remain a Hero and who will become a Villain? Angela Petrelli is very interesting but now the original 12 is down to only 3 living members (Angela, Bob and Maury). What was all that stuff in the vault?! Were they all tools for superpowered beings that came before? Playing cards that are 3 Queens? Oh and Munroe seemed awfully interested in that key. Wonder what it does.

Odeto...I agree with your points. The other thing that bugs me is the plotline that Adam's blood resurrects people. I will never believe anyone is DEAD until Adam, Claire and Peter are all dead simultaneously. Nathan will be back. Peter is sitting right there and could carry him away and heal him. But he might not think of it because he must have absorbed someone's power to be stupid and forgetful (for most of the things you posted above).

Odeto..completely agree. Great post. The Heroes only seem to use their powers when it's "convenient" for the writers. Closing plot holes is something that something like Lost does really well IMO, Heroes...not so much.

I had forgotten about Peter having DL's power to phase. If the writers had been thinking ahead, they could easily have written in a reason for him not to have been able to phase ... perhaps some sort of electric field that would cause pain even in phased mode for example. Peter tries to phase, gets zapped and realizes he needs another way in. As far as the Teleporting ... perhaps he hasn't figured out how to use that ability yet. Sometimes, it seems he is surprised to learn he has acquired a new power so evidently he must try to figure out how to use one or it kicks in instinctively. But in order to create drama I guess its easier to "forget" about something than come up with a plausible reason a particular thing would not work.

Ive myself been wondering since the begining what is Agenilla'a power? Does she have one? What side is she on? She does play her character well when you think about it she is the most mysterious person on that show. Also the things in the vault. What the heel are they? Why are they considered to be in the vault. Is there a power linked to them? So many questions to be answered I cant wait till Volume 3 starts up agian.
