I dont think Caitlin is lost..what do u think bout this theory???

well i agree to some extent with the Caitlin thing that her time time line no longer exists for the ppl living in the present(i.e after virus is destroyed) but she technically is not lost. in the present her future may not exist but if a time travellor was to go BACK in time to before the virus was destroyed, then the future that Caitlin is in would still exist for that past timeline, then the time travellor would go forward in time to Caitlin, then travell back along THAT TIMELINE to a past that suited them probabily the same time that they went back to originally and live out the time period till the virus is destroyed and then they can travel forward along the new/current/no virus time line to when they want

RESULT!!!! WOOP

seriously do you guys realy care what happened with Catilin?? who cares ! she was just there to help Peter find himself and now it's done so no need for her anymore.. and I'm sorry but do you really think Peter actually loves her ? I strongly doubt it.. the only reason he fell in love is because she was the only semi-attractive woman around and he didn't have his memory.. but once he got his memory back I just don't think he has the time to take care and love that random girl. I for one really don't care if we don't hear about her ever again

it just seems so really random for her to be added into a plot and then just dissappear, also peter really wants her back so i was just saying thats how it can be done, i was not discussing how good her character is or if she is needed but she is in the plot now and peter destroyed the virus for her so i wonderd whats gonna be done with her....

i think they made a mistake here...

present day peter is with caitlin in cork

peter and caitlin jump to the future where the virus is, some stuff happens and peter comes back.

peter then stops the virus spreading, meaning that caitin got taken to a future that doesnt exist, she only exists in the new timeline up untill she and peter traveled to the virus future.

peter basicly killed her, the only way she can exist again is peter traveling back to just before he takes her to the future, and grab her before the old peter can travel to the virus future.

and yes i went cross eyed a few times trying to write that down.

Actually, she is quite likely alive. While there are multiple theories on time travel and the multiple variations thereof concerning space and time... I'll just stick with one to show my point.

Any event that causes a change in the past would cause a ripple effect throughout the future. Thus, Caitlin is very much alive, as her present, their future, would merely be changed with her still in it. It would be very much like a tidal wave, changing things as the past would affect their present.

Also, for those of you who believe she doesn't have a power... try paying attention when the "Godsend" symbol appears as a tattoo on her body while making out and getting busy with Peter... It just hasn't been taken further as of yet. She may very well be dropped as a character, however she is very much alive in theory.

i cant see how she's alive. Between the point where she time travelled with peter and where they end up in the future, she doesn't exist. I cant see how the ripple effect whould still allow her to pop out of nowhere. If Peter went back in time to before they time travelled originally and picked her up and took her to the future then there would be no-one for peter to meet originally to timetravel with which thinking about it would probably mean he travel to the house in the picture on his own, time travels, sees the future and comes back again. Which would mean that she could be saved. Oh well just disproved my own theory.

Ripple effects change the courses of the future when the past is altered. For instance, lets say that you are broke and find $20 on the street and decide to go to a movie the next night. You see the movie and go about your life. Now, someone then travels back in time, takes that $20 from where you would have picked it up, and you then no longer find the $20 to see the movie, and merely go about your life none the wiser.

See my point here?

The symbol is on peters arms, its the tatoo he got earlier in the episode, it turns into the helix and then dissapeers, pay atention ppl, lol.
