Because if there is that'd be my guess...
And it looked to be male...

Why can't Peter just use his blood to revive Nathan?

I'm leaning towards Noah being the gunman to fulfil his deal with the Company to protect his family. lus he knows if the secret gets out Claire will never be safe or lead a normal life again. If you knew a gurls blood could bring people back from the dead and heal any wound wouldn't you start milking her for blood like a cow? and once again gotta love mama petrelli, cold hearted beotch. Peter is too naive to realize he has both adam and claires powers, Nathan will probably be saved somehow though. Maybe Peter will also remember he can stop time and go back to stop the gunman, but I doubt it because they've made hime the resident retard on the show.

Well seems like Peter can only use his powers when he thinks about the person he got it from, but I don't see how it could change his blood, but idk... It most likely is Noah who killed him, but how could he get away with it in the middle of all those people?? how lame! It should've been a sniper to make it realistic. Also, I think it could also just be a random hired gunman who killed him. But like mentioned above Nathan does have to fulfill his obligation with the company. And if he did kill Nathan (Claire's biological dad), how will the father daughter relationship grow between Claire and her father, she has so many reasons to hate him.

Peter from the future has come to the past and shot Nathan to prevent him from revealing their secret knowng full well that in the past when his brother was shot he used his own blood to heal him and prevent him from dying; since he himself has the regenerative ability and has shown on more then one occassion that he doesn't need to think about the person to use the ability.

Examples of unconcious/subconcious healing:

1. When peter fell off the school roof fighting Sylar he healed without thinking about clairs power since he didn't even know she had the ability.

2. When he was in Ireland and he was beaten for information he healed without any knowledge of the cheerleader since he had amnesia.

Man walking away in the last scene, the Haitian. Tho my guess is he didnt pull the trigger. As indicated the way the company works, "one of them and a normal." Obviously the Haitian's role was to block all the "Heroes" abilities. Could explain why Peter couldnt do a thing to save Nathen, Parkerman didnt detect a nearby shooter, or why anyone didnt notice a man walking in the opposite direction of shooting.

I'm pretty sure the killer is HRG. Claire's adoptive father killing her biological father.. it's almost poetic

Simply because every single person in the company has something special and frankly yes I would be very disapointed if Nathan got killed by a random guy.
