Heroes: Episode 2.10 "Truth & Consequences" Afterthoughts

Two will fall. Who will fall? That's what I hope to figure out. Last night's Heroes ended with a preview of the Volume 2 finale, and the promo promised that two Heroes will fall. Sure, I could spend this column discussing the waste of time that is Micah and Monica's subplot, or the fact that Parkman learning about Victoria Pratt last week is obviously pointless since she's dead now, or the unbelievable plot twist that Mohinder and Parkman would leave Molly with a babysitter.

But instead, let's look to the future. Pretty much nothing can save season 2 from being viewed as a creative disappointment, but the Heroes team can still come through with an impressive set-up for Volume 3. This can start by killing off a whole lot of people.

Niki can't die because I'm waiting for her to do cool stuff (like when she was hunting down Matt in season 1). For Micah to lose both a mom and dad would seem a little harsh. I'm going for my original pick of Nathan. He seems more impatient than normal lately, and more sarcastic by the minute. Plus we did see him in the previews after a lack of showing for a while. Maybe we could see Noah actually die again? Claire seems hurt enough and it has changed her for the better, let's kill him for good I say. I'm still confused on what they mean by a "Hero." Does Sylar count as a "Hero"? I figured they meant good guys. Although it's still questionable what they mean by "fall." I wouldn't put it past the writers to take it literally and have Claire "fall" from a building. LOL. Or they might even pull another Noah revive move again.

Niki will be in the fire, but we won't no whether she will live or die. Also in the commentary for this episode, they said Adam and Niki will meet

I guess to figure out who dies you just have to find out who asked for raises.

My two cents: Cannot STAND the Maya subplot, except for Sylar of course. I all but cheered out loud when he killed the ever scowling brother. And did it get to anyone else that every freakin' scene featuring Hayden Pantierre had her crying? I understand she thinks her dad dies, but me thinks this might be turning into Smallville all over where all the hot chick does is cry.

ANyway showing Claire cry was good it showed how hurt she really was, in alot of movies when someone's love one dies they cry once and its over.... Thats not real! Claire will come to light season 3 and i think will team up with the black girl who got kidnapped yesterday... They will form a team with Claire's boyrfriend little Micah will help so will Nikki... The shows this chapter where pretty lame and Maya is a mexican Blonde.. i dont quite get that stroy and why kill the brother off, they could have gave him a side plot or power and intwined him into the stroy more... Hiro has basically been the most consistent charecter this year and id like to see him whoop Peter P's dumb-ass atleast before they let him do some outrageous trick.. Im sure Adam dies and Peter time travels away with Hiro to the future and thats where it starts next season

Hopefully they will kill of Claire, Micah, Monica, West and Maya. Then this show can go back to being interesting.

Not the best episode but i guess the characters had to find out all the stuff we know somehow.

Next week, Time will stop!
