| Junior Member | Okay so I saw a preview saying that they had 3 episodes left to save the world and all I have to say to that is WTF!!!, so the writers strike has ruined our show, if you think about it instead of going through with 21 or so episodes they have to cut the show back to 11! so in the last 3 episodes they are gonna just slap everything together in a lame way to have a ending. I think this season is now ruined. These 3 episodes are gonna be choppy and stupid and it hurts my heart alot to see what this show could be and what it is about to become. You can agree or disagree its your choice, but this is my opinion and I hate that I am so disapointed in this show now because it use to make me happy and excited. sure i enjoy watching Peter walking around without a shirt on who would'nt but the story line and characters are ridicilous. Well I ranted long enough let me hear what ya'll think. flame me if you like but I am a true fan of heroes and I am just speaking out with what I think. Good night! |

Think of it this way; Although I enjoyed watching it, Generations was in no way on par with Genesis. The writer's strike will provide the time that the creators will need to think of new and exciting story lines as well as the means to impliment(sp?) them effectively. Plus, this season was already going to be broken up into two story arcs so all they had to do was tweak the dec. 3 episode so that it also served as a season finale. I don't think they had to do any major restructuring of the other two episodes. I have confidence that this show can come back out on top.

They have always planned on this storyline ending with the 11th episode. Just read Tim Kring's interviews. He did have to redo the ending of the 11th episode, though, to give it more of a season-ending feel due to the strike, but that's it. The 12th episode was going to start new stories.

I don't really think anything has been lost. After all, the volume was going to end in three episodes anyway. The only real difference is that there will be a longer delay between this volume ending and the new volume beginning.

i think today's episode, episode 9, was one of the best so far. when surresh was about to shoot bennet and bennet stopped him, i thought it was over because of the flashback to the picture, but no aftermath. I guess i was being hopeful, but later Suresh actually shoots him... how painful it must have been for Claire.. and how painful it was just watching!! What i didn't like was Suresh's character development, knowing how he was like in the first season i would never have expected him to turn into an executioner. But Bob has some sort of gift for convincing people that everything that comes out of his mouth is true. And does Bob have a power of his own? his daughter does, and it seems like everyone else in the picture does too, so what does he do? Well what i'm trying to say is that this episode was great and there are only two episodes left to conclude generations.. I know the writers have written the storyline up to episode 11. but how will it end? will it make a nice flow to start off episode 12 or will they have to redo/rethink everything to start off fresh off from season 3 episode 1. i'm not worried about generations, i'm worried about what lies beyond... As of today the Writers Guild is due to have a meeting with producers on November 26, let's hope it goes well for them, because they deserve their fair share for this great show called Heroes. And we really don't want to lose the integrity of this show!!

RedThorn: I think it was one of the first episodes of the season, but Bob has the power of alchemy. He changed something into pure gold right in front of Mohinder.

I'm quite upset by the strike as well. I too loved the show and I'm scared that it may end up not being what it could be. I really don't want to be dissapointed by the future storyline and epidsodes.
