I'm really bummed out by this. Heroes gave me a reason to look forward to Mondays. Worse yet, I just got word that Christopher Eccleston was just spotted in LA (Claude for those of you who didn't already know). If he was there for Heroes, I certainly hope his stuff was filmed before the strike hit.Slightly OT: I want to add Christopher Eccleston to my list of favorite actors, because he's my absolute favorite, but can't seem to get him to list in that section.

You are cynical, but it's really a reasonable judgement.

I love some humor like this.

The worse is that Heroes would not be the only show cut short for the strike...definitely makes me mad.

Um, it doesn't matter if they end in December, because that is the end of that arc anyway, and not for nothing it's been lackluster to begin with. This strike in my mind helps both Lost and Heroes, because Lost will be mostly wrapped up by the time the strike hits in January, so we will get that full season, and maybe this will give the writers of Heroes a chance to wow us again, next year, than piling on the same heaping pile of pig vomit that they've been spewing at us this fall.

B*tches, they can't do this to us! How can they even think of ending the season so soon! It's the best tvshow in years (since the end of sex and the city, lol). I love this season, and I dont mind the slow start, season 1 was slow for at least 10 episodes.
Those writers should stop whining about their not getting enough money, they get far more than most of us do!

You know that's fine to say, but how many other people actually care about what you do? I believe most of us care about the product these writers produce and I for one am totally for them getting as much as they can. I want the best of the best to keep writing this show. They deserve whatever they can get. I'm sure you wouldn't turn down a raise or fight for one if you could.

i never understood the point of strikes. there are people out there doing there jobs and putting up with so much more than these whiney little pencil pushers every day and not hesitating to do it again when asked to. if you have a job, do it. if you do it well, that's where the rewards come from. if they don't then just take pride in what you do and let that be its own reward.

i just joined here and maybe i missed something, but to my understanding heroes: origins is not canceled. it has simply been put on hold. tim kring spoke about this the other night on g4's "the post show" and definitely said that the spin-off was not taken off the table. he said that they had a very specific timeline they had to follow in order to get that show out on time and that even a 1 or 2 week writer's strike would delay that. more on-topic: that would really stink if heroes has to end this season in december. i've heard elsewhere that they've shot some kinda alternate ending to this volume in case that happens. (>_<)

Just seen episode 9 of season 2 and it actually looked like they got their act together. Its clearly coming to a close which for Claires story line has been the most evident because she had done nothing exciting in the first 8 episodes which is the same as do nothing for the first 16 episodes of a season which is a lot. She then has one good episode which has not progressed upwards like the homecoming episode last season was. I think Hiro spent too long in Japan in the past and Peter spent too long in an Irish Pub. To be fair i have enjoyed the new alliance between Nathan and Parkman. I also think the Maja, Sylar Alejandro story has potential to be good but with 2 episodes left i doubt they can do anything in the time. These last few episodes appear to be rushed rather a lot, its clear why its lost the appeal because the writers arent battling to win the fans over like they did last season. Maybe a 6 month break would be adequate for them to take a rest, get talking to the cast and mak
