I don't think the problem is necessarily that the Big Bad is similar, but the whole plot structure is the same. Peter goes into the future and gets a vision of the horrible, decimated NYC that's to come unles he can stop it? I agree that this episode highlighted the weakest storylines. The fact is that the show already had a compelling story with the Group of 12 and the Company and the Nightmare Man and Kaito's death. And, of course, Parkman and Nathan are nowhere to be seen. That whole arc is very interesting and fresh and plays on the idea of "Generations," so they really need to start focusing on that and ignore stupid Peter and the totally random Claire stuff.

So Hiro tonge wrestling with Yaeko certainly gives Kensei motive to kill Kaito, eh? Perhaps there is a Kensei/Pakman partnership? Or Parkman made Kaito appear to be Hiro in Kensei's mind but I am very sure that he killed Hiro's father. Good episode and I can't wait to see next week. Glad I could hook you up with that Petrelli theory, TheEditor. No charge for that.

I think we are getting somewhere with this season now. The last 2 minutes felt like they were straight from 28 weeks later. Let's see if they can run with it now. Heroes always makes the next episode look much better than it is (season finale last year anyone?) Correct me if I a wrong but I think NBC ordered 30 episodes this year right? If that's the case then they do need to space things out as they have been. Claire's story is starting to annoy me though. It almost makes me wonder if it's the shows attempt to bring in the younger crowd. There is way too much going on, and it keeps seeming like we are going at a snails pace. I could walk to the mexico usa border faster than the slyer/blood eyes twins can get there. And for the past couple of weeks heroes has felt like a basketball game, if you want the action just watch the last two minutes, you don't need to watch the whole hour. The only thing that felt the same to me as last season with last nights reveal was that they always go to

I believe there will be 30 episodes, but the last 6 are the standalone Heroes Origins series that, I believe, won't have anything directly to do with the main story. Season 2 will be divided into sub-arcs, and it looks like the biohazard will be the Big Bad of Chapter 3, while the Group of 12 Killer is Chapter 2. The only question is why run two arcs at the same time when the writers have clearly exhibited a total inability to juggle so many balls.

I thought last night's episode was "okay." It was definitely better than last week's episode. Has Peter looked in that "box" yet to see who he is, considering that fact that last night he was complaining about not knowing who he is? When are they going to explain what happened up in the air when Peter and Nathan flew off at the end of Season One?I know so many people are complaining about the similarities between the plot this season and last season, but what's really getting on my nerves the most is the fact that none of the characters are acting like anything that happened in last season ever even happened.I was reading on another site about how in most comic book plots, the first season brings the characters together, and then in the second season they have some falling outs and break ups, and stuff like that, and then they either end up going in separate directions or they mend fences to save the day. These guys don't even act like first season even happened.Matt Parkman and Na

---Continued---These guys don't even act like first season even happened.Matt Parkman and Nathan acted like they had no clue who each other was when they met early on. None of them are calling each other up to see how they are doing, based on what they witnessed at the end of last season. That's my problem with this year. It didn't continue the "relationships" from last year. After Molly let us know last year that there was one guy out there who saw her when she saw him, we knew that guy would be a big part of this season. When she said that, Mohinder, Parkman, and HRG were in the room, so why doesn't HRG, and thus Claire, have anything to do with that part of the story? The producers have RIPPED APART everything that made Season One great, which is my problem with the show right now. But apparently, they have kept the "SETS," since we are going by to NY City again. Hooray! NOT!!!

Oh, I remember. Claire did call Nathan at the end of the first episode this season, but he didn't want to talk to her. But beyond that, all of these characters who were so central to the story last year, seem to dislike or trust each other, which has limited the transition fo the show from the first to second season, in my opinion. Where's the girl who can manipulate the internet? When are the show's writers going to realize that Peter has Sylar's super hearing and his ability to liquify metal, instead of just Sylar's telekenesis? I guess they had to give Peter amnesia, or else, he'd be too perfect of a character, because his abilities are too great, if you can do it all. Still, all of these characters are connected based on Season One, but none of them act like it.

I'm split about this season so far, but I can't say it wasn't expected. When I heard all about all the new people being cast, I kinda expected it to be disjointed. I mean they already had a very large cast and when you add more, that aren't in the same area so they can't interact it becomes terribly fragmented. They need to slow down spend a whole episode on one or two storylines. And whoever is writing Hiro's and Claire's storylines needs to be fired...they bring the whole thing down....seriously.

New theory...Kensei is Adam Monroe and that is why Bob needs to do the viral research to remove powers because it is the only way they can kill Kensei. If this is true, it is unlikely that he is also Mr. Petrelli but VERY likely that he is Claire's true father.
