Default Did Matt's father kill Hiro's father?

Sorry I don't remember their names, only know who're their sons.

Matt's father can give anyone nightmare, therefore he could simply invades people's minds and makes sure they kill themselves.

Then Hiro's father and Nathan's mother probably fought against nothing but their own illusion.

Just guess.

Could be. I definitely think that was the case with Angela. I think he got inside her head and convinced her she was being attacked. I believe they said the wounds were actually self inflicted.

As for Mr. Nakamura, I think he was actually attacked by someone else. He recognized the person who went after him.

Default Isn't it obvious?

Maury Parkman attacked Angela as a warning, so she wouldn't rat out the other heroes. But Takezo Kensei was the one that killed Hiro's dad. He's committed himself to wiping out the leaders of the Company.

Lots of interesting theories. Can't wait to see how they all play out. That wasn't something I thouhgt about with Angela, but it makes some sense.

Default If you like theories, here are a few...

Why else would the writers have us spend so much time in the past, other than to introduce us to a young Kensei? No one else in the past is getting much screen time. If Kensei has the power to regenerate every cell in his body, would he ever grow "old"? The other way he could have arrived in the present day would be via Hiro, but young Kensei lacks the ruthlessness needed to assassinate the Company leaders. However, I'd say that he could be up to the task after 350 or so years.... If he's still alive, it would beg the question as to how he lost his sword. You'd think it would have some sentimental value, as it was given to him by his Princess.... Also, does the Princess have a Power? Her father made a sword with the Hero symbol, so that implies that he has a Power, and these Powers tend to run in families so.... There's also the story of how Kensei cut out his own heart and gave it to the Dragon for the life of his Princess. Who is the Dragon, and what could an immortal heart be used for?

If Kensei actually really killed Hiro's Dad, what's his motive? Old Parkman is one of his men? If Old Parkman's only involved the case of attacking nathan's Mom for merely scaring, why Matt found Bob's picture and that red symbol in his Dad's room?
Obviously Matt's Dad lived in Philadelphia, and at the same time he could control Molly in NY.If he's the killer, I curiously think about who's helping him transfer the targets' pictures?
Why so many people believe that Kensei's the real killer, just because his power?
Then Claire will not grow old too?

Kensei may be the one who took the picture of the 12. He could have been the one who organized them to help change the world.

But the members became corrupted by the power they held. Kensei "brought them into this world, and he can take them out"

The question is, why now? I'm guessing it has something to do with NY not going nuclear.

Running at a person and pushing them off a building is the MO of someone who can heal from any wound - not someone who can trap you in a nightmare. It was too quick. Also, something in the stance/build of the shadowy attacker matches that of Kensei.

The picture of Bob with the hero symbol is circumstantial evidence; Bob could have given him the photo, not wanting to keep it. Remember, Parkman Sr. had a picture of himself with a hero symbol as well. It could be misdirection on his part, of course, but it just doesn't seem to be his style to give his victims that kind of advance warning. Warning your enemies before you attack is an honorable act, something more in line with what a 300+ yo Kensei might do.

As an aside, the fact that Parkman Sr was able to reach Angela from Philly implies that she has some sort of psychic ability (like Molly who was also attacked from a distance). Angela was probably communicating with Parkman Sr when he attacked her.

^^ Don't rule out that the person who killed Hiro's father could have been someone who healed OR flew. And I think Parkman Sr having Bob's photo is a little more than just circumstantial, but I could be wrong there.

I have a feeling the person who killed Hiro's father was under some kind of possession. I think Matt's dad's powers may extend that far, but that is really just a blind guess at this point. Anyway, the body type of Hiro's dad's killer seemed almost like it could have been Peter or West.

Should be interesting to see it all play out.

If West was somehow involved in the Company (at least enough to know who its leaders were) then he would know all about HRG and wouldn't have suggested to Claire that she introduce them. You could cry "reverse psychology", but it really didn't seem necessary. She wasn't in a hurry to have her dad meet a guy he'd once tagged and bagged, especially one she was dating. I think West is innocent of killing Kaito Nakamura. And as with Maury, leaving a Japanese symbol on a picture of someone who's going to be assassinated, seems to be something that only Kensei would do. Some people have theorized that Kensei is Papa Petrelli, but that conflicts with the "War Buddies" graphic novel. He's probably one of Claire's more distant ancestors though. And if so, Claire probably has some of the Princess's blood in her too. I suspect Claire's also a "cousin" of Elle through Kensei. The really cool episodes will come when Sylar eats Kensei's brain and takes over the Company. As shown in "Five Years Gone" he has a knack for politics, and it would be fun to watch him consolidate Company power.
