Season 2 final battle

During the final episode, when both sides are locked in battle, it will be Sylar who tips the scales in favor of 'good'. It will not be because he has changed his ways but rather because he cannot bear the thought of sharing his notoriety or power with anyone else.

Interesting theory. I'd be interested to see if it plays out like that. If Sylar was going to fight for the good team, that would be one of the better reasons. Better than him flipping sides.

if heroes have season 3 and decide to maintain sylar's story, it must have a good reason.

That wld be cool, specially with a really powerful villain, and Sylar double-crossing the good guys to try and take his power...
Kinda a Magneto or Dr. Doom's thing..

Especially if Sylar has someone they need to stop the bad guy, Maya perhaps or just her power. I'd like to see it end like that. (the season that is not the show)

I think they will all be after Sylar. the Kindred may have had more time to perfect their talents but sylar is pure evil and thats where it counts.

Sylar has the edge over Peter I think at the moment because he knows how to use all of his powers and peter struggles to dig them out one at a time - lets hope he figures them out

Well, right now Sylar has no powers at all, but I get your point and I agree.

i see what you all are saying about sylar vs peter but lets face it if the writers didnt have hiro doing stupid things like living in the 16th century or trying to save his father (who doesnt want to be saved) he could single handley stop sylar or adam or who ever he is really the most powerful but they seem to have him use his powers for stupid things whats next will hiro go and stop time to get free ice cream
