Heroes: Episode 2.4 Afterthoughts - Who's in the Group of 12?

Last night's Heroes offered plenty of nice twists and surprises, the most exciting being the revelation of the Group of 12. The mysterious group formed by the older generation of Heroes has been spoken of a lot this season, especially since year 2 is subtitled “Generations.” In last night's episode, after Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) teamed up with Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar), we caught a glimpse of a photograph featuring 12 people, many of who we already know are Group members.

It's not absurd to make the logical assumption that the people depicted in the photo are the complete Group of 12. Thanks to the glories of the Internet, let's take a closer look at the Group of 12, and try to see what we can infer from this now famous photo.

I think most likely you are correct about the dude with the stache...he's gotta be Maya and Alejandro's papa. It's the only way to make them relevant.

Almost forgot...interesting that Papa Petrelli has his head turned toward Kaito who we know was schtupping Angela. Why can't we see him straight on? Is there a reason? Do we know him somehow already and he's actually still alive? Kensei?

I just realized something, we all know that the people in the pic have powers, if they didn't they wouldn't be in the pic. If the "generations" angle is correct, as far as we know, the offspring of some the 12 have powers, except: Simone. I wonder why?

All the theories sound very valid, though I hope the one about Sylar's dad isn't right. I'm still hoping for them to bring Leonard Nemoy in as Sylar's father, assuming Leonard would want to do it. (Yes I know I'm a sucker for Star Trek). I can't be the only one who thinks that would be an awsome idea. It would work too since they do look so much alike. Plus it would be great for publicity for the new movie and the show.

The Brunette (Joanna Cassidy) more notably is Dolores from Roger Rabbit

. She's also the only one who I recognized immediately as a known actress which makes me believe she'll be entering the story line. I've got a feeling that she, Mrs. Petrelli, Matt's Dad, and Bob are the only remaining members. For the black lady, my money is on it being Nana's sister and not actually Nana.

Here's my question... who took the picture?
