| Pretty good episode, but some things bothered me... What's with Peter? They're trying to pull Jason Bourne with him being afraid of his own past, but there really isn't any evidence to suggest that he was a bad person in his previous life. I guess he has a hot Irish girlfriend and he doesn't want to screw that up, but he should really find out what his last name is and google himself. The Company set up a lab in Isaac Mendez's apartment because... They couldn't find another 1500 sq ft place in New York? Sentimentality? Given the fact that her dad can fly, wouldn't Claire think that there is a possibility that she and her new boyfriend are related? |

| I'm disappointed, this was the first episode that i didn't like. I blame it on the fact that the person who wrote it was a writer for The OC. The whole West - Claire thing has potential to turn intresting when he finds out who her dad is, but I don't like him, and i realy don't think they are related. I want to see claire help take down the company, make some use of her ability. I hated that D.L. was dead. I already thought it was too much with both Matt and Nathan losing their wifes. I don't like where Hiro's story is going, he doesn't need another complicated love story. And I would have liked to see Kensei fight those 90 ronnins. Peter not wanting to know who he was is just dumb, I don't think any person ever would reject their past like that. The only thing i realy liked about this episode was that Sylar killed Candice, have always found her irritating. It felt good to know that he's still as evil as always. Let's just hope that he get's his powers back. Might he have lost them as a result of the virus? All other infected characters have lost their abilities. This episode might have been a disappointment but they can't all be good i guess. I'm looking foward til' next weeks episode, it will hopefully hold the same wonderful quality as the rest of the show so far. |

| Not Noah (horned-rimmed glasses), but her biological dad (Nathan Petrelli). Quote:

| I just noticed that Claire seems to be kissing West in the background of the painting with Mr. Bennets death. |

| Moderator ![]() ![]() | Dude, Claire is annoying me. How can she pissed at HRG, she KNOWS he used to work for the company. WTF? Sorry, they are screwing with her and its annoying me. And to top it off, I really don't like her peeping Tom boyfriend. That is interesting that someone brought up maybe the kid and Nathan are related. That would be creepy. What's with all the Petrellicest on this show?? Still loving Kensei and Hiro. Sylar has seriously intriqued me. Charles hinted at something like this when I was bitching that Sylar was too powerful, it will be very interesting to see how this all plays out.

| In response to some of the thoughts above... Is DL *really* dead? Or is this a ploy, a misdirection? Just a thought. I don't think Candice is dead. I think she's sitting off to the side, watching how Sylar acts and reacts, watching and learning how he acquires his powers. Consider, she's a veteran at illusions, and could very easily have made an illusion of her for Sylar to attack while he was being distracted by her other illusions. Also, she isn't working alone. She mentioned she is working for other people (the Company, perhaps? or another group...), and if worse came to worse, they would at the very least know how dangerous Sylar is and instruct her to maintain some distance from him. Also, I don't think Sylar lost his powers due to the virus. Everyone who has had the virus has exhibited pretty debilitating symptoms, and Sylar is up and moving about. I don't know how his powers are absent right now (maybe it's more illusion from Candice?), but I'm sure that will be resolved in due course. As for Peter not wanting to know about his past, he's kinda scared of it right now. Before he wasn't aware of how powerful he is, what he can *really* do. He keeps surprising himself. Now he knows he's pretty damned powerful, and has had not so good feelings towards at least one person. There is reasonable doubt on his part that maybe he doesn't want to know who he was. Some people would react that way. Others would probably want to know, whatever the result. Just some thoughts... |

| I'm sorry, but I've totally had it with season 2. I know, it's only been 3 episodes, but consider how by the end of episode 3 of season 1, I was totally addicted. Every plot line was awesome, every thread made sense, and every character was totally engaging. Season 2? Nothing makes any sense, every plot line is either completely ludicrous or thoroughly dull. At this point, the only reason to keep watching is that it would appear that the show is slowly working it's way through the entire cast of the original star trek, so, at some point we can anticipate Bill T's arrival, presumably as the head of the "The Company". Btw, I think they made it pretty clear that Sylar lost his powers when he was stabbed. We had that "in his eye" view of stuff sort of shutting down. In any case, the show is SO done with him... bringing him back is completely pointless. For that matter, they really should have started with a whole new cast of characters and then woven them back into the original plot. For what it's worth, we're 3 episodes in and nothinghas happened. I mean really... NOTHING. Hiro dicking around in the past, Suresh being all nervous, Claire not able to stop whining... seriously, is she THAT stupid? She didn't seem to be in the first season, what happened?! It's not as though she ****s diamonds, or is a genius that needs to play "normal". So she grows back fingers and toes, WHATEVER, who cares?! I'm supposed to believe that because she heals quickly she can't settle into a routine and just live her life like she did before she discovered her abilities? Nonsense. Peter going along with robbing armored cars? WHY? Nathan living like a hermit... WHY? Matt's wife left him... while pregnant?! PLEASE! It's like they blew their load in the first season and now have absolutely no idea where to take the show and are just milling about in place with nowhere to go. I know... I'm going to get flamed, but I can't help it. I'm SO disappointed. |

| Hi lads, I am really enjoying the new season today episode was very good but as an Irish man I have to wonder! Did they even speak to an Irish person before filming? 1. Most Irish people will call football soccer, because we have our only kind of football e.g. GAA. 2. Most security men will not have guns. Most of our cops do not have guns; we have an unarmed police forces so it is highly un-lightly that security men will have guns, when our police do not. 3. I have to say the accents are very bad the girl’s accent is not bad but it is more Belfast than Cork and yes there is a different. 4. They have to be the worst pints of Guinness I have ever seen. A real head on a pint of Guinness is about half an inch. If that is the kind of pint you get in the US you don’t know what you are missing. Well that is enough crap from me what do you think?
