I think the activation of powers as something to do with the eclipses (why else would it be the show's logo and why would Isaac paint it?) Somwhow, it activates the powers. About Kensei, I suppose it's evolutionary speaking a quite normal thing.. Remember Apocalypse in X-men: he's an egipcian slave, from BC.. Evolution takes millions of years, but doesn't happen all of a sudden, right?

| I'm glad you raised this point - yes in response to the original topic what you say makes total sense. He was just simply one of the original if not THE original person to have developed an ability. IMHO

Yes, and we also have to remember,, that we are seeing so many "heroes" together and aware in the present time because of The Company and it's founders, who could very much have been the first group of people to band together to better understand their abilities (that we know of).

Well its clear after the next episode. The 'unreal kensei' (cause ofcourse hiro is the real kensei) is infact Adam, the mysterious guy whos actually killing everyone, and he can regenerate and still alive in the future. We only dont know in what timespace peter has got himself into this time.. Maybe the present.. i really wanna see more of peter, hes just the best

Evolution has ALWAYS been there. Sometimes through history it just takes a huge leap.

That's right, evolution has been a constant process throughout the entire span of life on this planet way before humans got on the scene. For this reason I reckon that there were smatterings of 'Heroes' throughout the whole of human history. If you go to the yamagato fellowship site (I can't post a link as I don't have enough posts yet) you can see that there are studies on legendary heroes (Odin, Beowulf etc) and I reckon the show will posit that the posession of powers is an explanation for these figures in our history.
