In one of the Oceans movies (I believe it was Oceans 13) the guys use a huge EMP to shut down power in the casino and one of the guys mentions that the EMP will shutdown power for a while, but also destroy most of the van that the EMP device was in. So I guess if that is true, it could cause someone to blow back, even more so because Peter is aiming the blast towards those Irish guys (or was it one guy? i cant remember)

Maybe it is a power Peter picked up in the 4 'missing' months, but I stick with the EMP story for now

It was Ocean's 11. The van is made of steel, and it's a Electro Magnetic Pulse.

Also, it's just a movie, I don't think that an EMP would have that great of an effect on the van.

I'm pretty sure that britet1981 is right.

haha... i thought that was great. it must be cool to be a moderator.

i'm definitely with roshi and britet on this one. the emp would have a ripple effect spanning outward from his body, not a ball of energy projecting from his palm. this is a new one. too bad he doesn't remember he has tk, it's a bit more effective for the things he needs to be able to do, like grab a box at range.

i believe its a new one from the "missing" months, i'm sure they'll visit that soon enough. i just hope they don't get caught trying to catch up on themselves as they have to satisfy our needs of knowing what happened in those months, yet they have to have a new theme/goal for the heroes to achieve

hi by the way, i'm ad =]
these boards are very active and friendly =]
hope i get to know some of you!

hi ad, they'll probably do an episode's worth of explanation just going over the most pivotal plot points that took place in that time frame in the spirit of the "6 months ago" episode. except it'll be 'four months ago'... maybe tell us how congressman petrelli stepped out of office and into the bottle. that seriously is the one i want to see most because it hasn't really been touched on.

Default Peter's Memory Loss?

Just thought I would point out that even if amnesia is cliche, it shouldn't be possible for Peter. He was near Sylar after he got the perfect memory from that one girl.

Thumbs down

I thought that Teds power was nuclear. He just burnt to a certain temperature to shut down the bulidings electricity. This is the power Peter used (which he stole from Sylar) to blast back the irish guy.

Im sure that Peter has all the powers that Sylar does, and all the ones from every other hero he has come into contact with.

charlie, a waitress at a restaurant hiro and ando went to. peter would have gotten that one by proxy, which is less likely for him to have use for. he saw sylar using tk, that's how he knew he could use it.
