| Sylar doesn't eat the brains of his victims.. Why would he? He's not some sort of zombie. If you've watched the episodes, you'll know that Sylar's original power is... no.. not telekinesis, but the ability to see how things 'tick' so to speak. When Chandra Suresh first found Sylar back in episode 10 "Six Months Ago", Sylar was able to put the watch up to his ear and tell that the self winding coil was loose, and that his watch was running 2 seconds behind. Later, when Sylar is back at Dr. Suresh's apartment, he steals a post-it note with Brian Davis' name on it. Brian was the man with telekinesis. Sylar calls Brian to his workshop, and Brian shows Sylar his power.. he steps close to Sylar, Sylar looks into his eyes and says, "You're broken. Suresh was right, its so clear now. How it all works. pieces fitting together.... it IS in the brain." What Sylar does with the brain is still unknown, but I would speculate that he examines their brains to see how they tick, and see what it is about their brain that causes their powers. But eating them? Uh.. no. Oh.. and btw... don't want to give away the ending to the episode.. but.. YAY!!!!!!!! Glad 'someone' died. |

| i think taking the superpower of "super-hearing" from that lady will be sylar's downfall. he was having too much trouble adjusting to the power and it was driving him nuts. when he took other people's power, he was able to adjust his life and control the power (i.e. taking Zane's power to have the ability to melt metal, but being able to control it so he doesn't melt everything in sight). however, the super-hearing was killing him and he's going crazy over everything that makes noise. I believe this somehow will greatly affect what happens to him in the future, will make him go mad and will eventually help kill him. Also think how loud an exploding man will sound to him. ouch... |

I'm really wondering if Peter can only absorp active powers or if he actually got all of Sylars at the time they met. That would mean he has the ability to "fix" himself..or..since he's a nurse and has pretty good knowledge of the human body, I wonder if he can "fix" other people like simmone. Well, if we see Peter accidentally freeze someone or start having perfect memory recall we'll know it's all powers Now, the other question I have is about the exploding man thing. If peter is potentially going to explode because he's absorbing too many powers and can't control it...what about Sylar? The difference between Sylar and Peter up till these past few episodes has been that Sylar knew how to use all the powers he's gained and Peter did not. Just because Sylar can use them (as peter is starting to do now) doesn't mean he's not in danger of losing control. It would of course mean that Sylar would have to kill Ted off for that to happen, but it's a possibility. I'm pretty sure Peter is the one that explodes, but I like to explore possibilities.

biggest drawback to peter's powers: MEMORY LOSS. If he forgets everyone with powers he has meet then byebye he wont be able to control them anymore, he'l go into another coma or blow-up if he meets ted and he doesn't know how to control it. Now who in the world has the power to forget?

| I think that Sylar, some how injects himself with the ensyme that gives those people they're powers, he doesn't eat their brains!!! Just my thoughts!! I think Peter should've came in contact with all the people who were deceased before the show started, that would be awesome. I also think that Peter should turn evil, sorry I just wanna see that twist happen |

| The Haitian has to touch people's heads to make them forget. The Haitian didn't get to touch Peter's head, so I would assume that he wouldn't forget unless that were to occur. The thing about Peter - he's been around all of these people and he's absorbed their powers, not taken them from them, but has the ability to mimic them. That seems to be the big difference between Peter and Sylar. Peter has yet to discover all of the abilities that he has managed to clone in himself as of yet, but he is learning quickly! Ted seems to be a real threat, more so than Peter, with his temper. As his temper flares, everything around him explodes. Peter, after being around Ted, will have to control his temper with great precision or he could very well end up exploding himself. It's going to be an interesting episode coming up. I can't wait to see episode 17 and all that occurs - Claire seems to be one that would survive (although Matt would probably die) due to her regeneration if Ted loses his temper with Bennett. Mysti |

| Finally Peter did something cool, he has to be the most powerful one because even after Sylar takes everyones powers even if they do end up fighting somewhere down the road all Sylar has to do is get close to Peter and its a done deal Peter will have all his new powers too |

| two things.....one, he also met eden.....but she didnt use her power on him...will he be able to use it??? second, the Haitians powers will not work on Peter, because his power is to use others powers...one of the Haitians powers is to turn off powers.....so peter would autimatically use the off switch as soon as they are near each other....therefore cancelling out the haitian...and also cancel out his other power of memory loss. But that would def mean that peter should be able to cancel out anyone elses power if he wants to. Whether or no Sylar can even do anything other than the powers we've seen is still yet to be known......maybe he wasnt able to get any of the other powers. As far as Sylar losing it....yeah, I think that is very likely....he should now have telekenesis. super memory, metal melting (a pretty useless power....lol), and super hearing......thats gonna get messy! Can't wait to see Peter start mixing his powers to have new effects. |
