I was on the phone with my g/f at the time while we were both watching it when I nearly deafened her by laughing my butt off so damn loudly. Another funny Star Trek riff on George Takei (Hiro's Father and Hikaru Sulu from Trek) was the preview from the next episode where Hiro get's slapped and she tells him (I'm paraphrasing), "Thanks for the info (heads up?) Mr. Sulu." Some one was a big trekkie while growing up I'd think.

Hey All,

I don't think anybody has mentioned yet, but did you notice the license plate on George Takai's car? It was a New York plate, number "NCC-1701" -- the serial number of the original Enterprise! Masi Oka mentioned in a SciFi.com interview that they had managed to work a Star Trek reference in... guess that was it!
