the cockroach crawled over sylar's bed when he was imprisoned, the next thing you know the doctor says he is dead and when HRG comes back the Doctor is dead in sylars place. Sylar understood how cockroaches work or are deemed indestructible. He never talked to the cockroach, I really dont think there is any correlation between sylar and animals - not yet anyway, he just saw the cockroach and understood playing dead was his chance to escape

Peter Petrelli=Linderman Theory 1. Peter can travel in time because he meet Hiro 2. He meets Jessica and develops an alter ego-Linderman 3. He knows about the sword, paintings... 4. They know each other but, it has never been proven they have meet. Remember his brother didn't meet Linderman either. I could just see it happening

Why is it that most theories are about this or that guy beeing from the future. For crying out loude, Linderman, Syler, Peter, Natan all are in ther correct time line. It seems to me that Peters copyed power seems not to have the same finess/power as the original. His Telekenisis is weaker than Sylers, His future vissions are not as focused and direct as Isacs and I'm sure he can't travel through time or teleport like Hiro. He flyes slower than his brother. He regenirates slower than Clair and seems to be more painfull and messy. Hiro is the only one truly capable of time travel and is cosing paradoxes. I allso think that Nicky has a split personality. her problem is that her alter ego Jesica has access to her power, not her. Sooner or later she will get her act togather and they will merge or she will crush Jesica and accwire the power her self.

What if Linderman is Peter's/Nathan's dad, but has a power similar to Niki/Jessica? Part of the time he is the bad guy (Linderman) and part of the time he is the good guy (Mr. Petrelli).... Yes I know Peter's/Nathan's dad supposedly committed suicide, but maybe it's just a matter of Linderman being in control of the body in essence leaving Mr. Petrelli "dead"...

I think Linderman has the power of insight. He can see peoples strength and weaknesses. He manipulates people to work for him one way or the other. He new eccacly how he could get hold of Nathan. Send him a pretty girl and tape them having sex. He manipulates Nikky with treats since knows Jessica will protect her by working for Linderman. Now we ket a taste just how big his web is. | |

Check it: I don't think the cockroach in Sylar's cell had much to do with anything except the recurrence of cockroaches int he series. The pilot episode had Mohinder talking about cockroaches perhaps being God's chosen beings, or the pinnacle of evolution... the fake exterminator sent to bug Mohinder's place says there's a roach problem, and then there actually is (we see Mohinder crushing a roach in anger). I think the roach in Sylar's cell is meant to reinforce that he, the power predator, may in fact be the high point of the evolution of the human species that he claims to be. Like the cockroaches, his powers are not by any means civilized - he is nothing more than a primal animal at heart. But, those powers may make him more fit to survive than anyone else - cockroaches can live through nukes, can't they? Maybe on November 8th, he'll have to. If Sylar represents the roaches, Peter definitely represents the evolutionary potential of humanity and sentience, as Claude (invisible guy) says. Peter's powers give hope that superhumans can live peacefully among each other and among normal humans and actually gain mutual benefits from their interactions with each other; unlike Sylar, who needs to prey on people to become more fit, Peter and other empaths can become more fit to survive simply by living in a human (or superhuman) community. This raises the question - What happens if both Sylar and Peter become invincible? It's definitely possible. Then where do we go? I'll talk about what God could have to say on the issue later, if you guys want to take the discussion that way. It's a whole new can of worms without an easy answer. As for Linderman: Here's what I think we know: -Papa Petrelli was working with Linderman. Before the younger Petrellis prosecuted Linderman, it was reported to us that Papa Petrelli committed suicide. Nathan and Peter then dropped it. We didn't see a body. Here's the tricky part: his cause of death was already covered up once. It is possible that he didn't die at all, and that Papa Petrelli either was Linderman from the start, or assumed the Linderman identity when he faked his own death. Mama Petrelli may or may not be an accomplice - she seemed to be genuinely troubled over Papa Petrelli's death, but she has been duplicitous in her dealings with her children. Refer to her reaction to Peter when he insists there is good in Nathan versus her reaction when Nathan tells her that he wants to do something for Claire. She went from "Nathan is a cold-hearted bastard" to "Nathan, you're a sap" without a change to her cold expression. She's either a bit messed up, which is understandable given her family's history, or she's got some other motive that may have something to do with superpowers, or may just be about money and political power. She may be an accomplice to Linderman, in which case she could be looking to maximize Nathan's political power because Linderman essentially owns Nathan. There are so many possibilities and she seems so psychologically unstable that I don't think we can fully understand her at this point. -Nathan stayed a night in Linderman's hotel, where Primatech attempted to take him. How did Primatech get into the room? Neither Mr. Bennet nor the Haitian is reported to have any sort of entry power - I would think it's safe to say that Linderman indirectly gave them clearance, even though Linderman's aide formally denied it. Linderman has since assigned Jessica (who, they have to know by now, is capable of tearing a man in half) to kill Nathan; but Jessica hasn't been picked up by Primatech, even though Linderman knows exactly where to find her. Linderman may or may not have known about her powers when Primatech came for Nathan, but almost certainly knows about them now and hasn't turned her in - in fact, he turned her loose from the institution! So, I think it's safe to say that Linderman is not working for Primatech - he's keeping Niki secret and in doing so putting a lot of people in danger, which is punishable by death. I think it's also safe to say that Primatech is not working for Linderman - they're neutralizing or releasing so many potential hitmen that Linderman could have used, and they seem like they're operating at a much more sophisticated level than Linderman is - Primatech resources aren't being applied towards a lot of Linderman goals. For example, if he wanted to take neutralize Nathan earlier, he definitely could have done so. Also, they wouldn't have wasted a resource like Claude - they would have just moved him into Linderman's direct employ. If Primatech is working for Linderman, they're being smart enough about it that I can't see it. More later, I have to go. I haven't even talked about Sylar yet.

yes, the trailer goes, "Mr. Linderman?" and this old white-haired, white-bearded man turns to his side. But I do think that the Petrellis have a strong link or relationship with this guy. Can't wait for next week! ---------- Why match when you can itzamatch?
