Sylar Paused..?

This could just be another minute detail that has no bearing whatsoever on anything...but whatever :P

Did anyone notice that, when Sylar was at Claire's house, and Mrs Bennett asked "Sorry? Who are you?", there was a good two seconds between her question and his response? During which time he had a clueless/blank expression?

Was he trying to decide which type of voice to use? Suggestions/comments/ideas?

I think he's just trying to make himself look surprised.

Well, it could be what the two people above said, but I like to have a meaning for everything, so:

I think Sylar's sort of trying to figure out who he was himself, and that question just threw him off for a moment. I mean, is he a Hero? A villian? Good guy, bad guy, Sylar, Gabriel Gray, Gabriel Sylar, timepiece repairer, Patient Zero, etc.

Remeber (part 4, scene 3) Sylar told Sandra that he was still deciding wheather to Kill her or not? So the Pause is Sylar to show his true evil or play a cat and mouse game.

He started talking like a Pedophile a while there.

Well... he did have on a Primatech uniform... so Mrs B def noticed that. I think he just paused to think of a line to feed her. Remember when the scene starts with Sylar... he is sitting on Claire's bed... waiting for her to arrive home from school. He never intended to come in contact with anyone except Claire... so when Mrs B came in... he went downstairs from Claires bedroom, and she asks "Who are you?"... he paused, and then made up the dumb story about finding Mr Muggles out in the street cause he had the dog in his arms already.
