Hey this is my firsy post on here. I have been watching since day one and now seem to see there are pretty big and importat connections amongst all the characters. Now that we see Nathan is Claire's biological father, we see Peter's bond to Claire is because he unknowningly is her uncle. Nathan also has a connection with Nikki since he had an affair with her. Everyone is somehow connected to Linderman, this invisible character who could quite possibly be one of the most important character on the show. Linderman may have a power and if he does it may be one of the most significant ones, which would explain why everyone fears him and follows his rules. Everyone owes something to Linderman. Hiro and Ando are tryin to trade a for the sword, Nikki owes money, Nathan can be blackmailed for his affair, and so on... what I believe is that Linderman is the boss behaind finding all the "heroes" I believe he is the person HRG is speaking to on the phone in the first episode telling someone "Yeah, everything is here... the map, even the list... the only thing missing is the computer." I believe Linderman wants to keep an eye out for them for some reason. I believe Claude and HRG have a bad history, since HRG states an old friend wasn't so dead as he thought. I think Claude escaped from HRG's grasp in the past and has been against HRG since day one, perhaps because he feels everyone's powers have to be harnessed and that HRG shouldn't be tampering with them. Nikki/Jessica is the most puzzling of all. How was Jessica able to tap her mind into Nikki's body before dying. Nikki is obviously power-less, but Jessica has the strength. Or is Nikki just holding repressed memories of Jessica causing her to have a split personality in which Jessica uses their power in anger to avenge her death. I think Nikki will have to find a way to contorl Jessica and at the same time tap into the power without unleashing Jessica. I think there's a lot more connections than we can see. Perhaps a connectiong between HRG and Claire's real mother, which is how he found Claire, because if Claire had survived the fire, how come authorities didn't find her nd return her to her mother? Someone must have known she would be alive and taken her before anyone could find her.

First off, Welcome! That's an interesting post there. I have of course always known there was a bunch of connections, and it's nice to see it kind of layed out (it doesn't seem in full, seeing how there's no mention of Isaac's connection to Linderman through his paintings). There's also a few theories, some which are open to questions I wondered. Why is it they didn't know Claire was alive? Perhaps Linderman did have something to do with it. Or perhaps it was simply from what power HRG has... I don't know!

Issac's connection to Linderman is Simone, she sells his paintings to Linderman. And Nikki has already tapped into her powers once already. When the guard tried to club her with the night stick (after seeing Micah, and D.L.) she caught it and snapped it. That was her not Jessica, it might have been out of reflex but it was her.

Yea... the whole Jessica/Niki character is kind of weird... We know for sure that Jessica was a real person, her older sister, cause she has visited the graveside. So is Niki being possessed? A true split personality is one person that "splits" into others (not real) to deal with certain situations (being beaten, molested, etc). And the whole tattoo thing... I have put together that the tattoo is only on her shoulder when she is Jessica, not when she is Niki... so most probable that Jessica was a "special person" before she died/was killed. So maybe the whole thing is more like a spiritual possession than a personality disorder... that seems more logical?

Maybe it's more like...Jessica's power was super strength while Nikki's is like connecting to spirits or whatever. So when Jess died, Nikki couldn't help but connect with her. <.< But Jess played on Nikki's need for protection and was somehow able to take control of the host body. Or whatever...it's like 2 a.m. where I am. I'm just trying to stay awake -.- OR Nikk's true power IS super-strength and through all the repressed memories of abuse she has built up a second persona and named her Jessica because her sister was always the protective type of person. Maybe Jessica used to be the type of person who'd never hurt a fly and Nikki made her version of her the way she is, as a defense mechanism. And like with all dissociative disorders, only the second identity is able to access the power since having such a power fits the personality Nikki has attributed to her. Jessica might not have any powers whatsoever, she could only exists to provide a name and personality foundation for the persona Ali's character has made. O.O Or something. -falls asleep suddenly-
