You are right it was figuratively, but it still proves it isnt just one power that he absorbes, that causes him to blow up, Ie the radioactive guy in the desert. The whole point of that conversation is so people understand that he does not have control of the powers, and without control he is a walking time bomb.

I think that when peter is in the street with all the other heroes coming around, he's going to remember all of them, and how they make him feel, and it's going to overload him, and he's going to meltdown. I don't remember him seeing Sylar in his vision, so I assumed he wasn't there. But I don't know... Maybe he was hiding?[/b]

Predicion: Syler will be in the back of the cab with Mohinder.

The Haitian might pose a problem but if he can absorb HIS power... (will that reactivate his or just give him the mind-whipe ability, im at a loss here)[/b]

Random, and probably in the wrong place but did anyone else notice that The Haitian could stop all of this? In order for Peter to use his powers,he has to remember how they made him feel/remember coming in contact with that person...if we can assume that Peters dream was figurative and not literal(this is addressed on another thread in chp 14) and it represents him distancing himself from those people or whatever,if Mr. Bennet and The Haitian could find Peter and erase his memory, wouldn't it prevent him from using any of those powers?

I think it has something to do with the radiation dude. His powers are literally explosive.[/b]
Definitely Radiation Dude - Didn't they show a clip of him right before the showed a clip of Peter exploding at the end of chapter 12?

Hmm... yes good point but he has to GET to peter first... I was wondering how that would go... could peter escape using his power? Well he is being tracked by Isaac and all so he wouldn't get far but stil...
Why is Isaac trying to find Peter anyway? How does he know for sure that its Peter who goes BOOM! ? And why the hell is he talking about him like HE is the bad guy!

Actually if you remember episode 12 when Peter is still in the coma. He's watching the dream again and Nathan walks up to him. Peter looks at his hands then up at Nathan and says, "I took his power, I don't know how to control it". Nathan then says, "It's ok, I'm going to help you."

Peter doesn't explode becuase he has too many powers [though that can happen as the writers are setting up]. He explodes because he takes on Ted Sprague's power of Radiation and doesn't know how to control it. Just because we can't see how he came in contact with Ted at the moment doesn't mean he didn't come in contact with him right before the dream actually started.

If you think about it the dream started after he had already started to meltdown, that was why everyone was scared of him. They knew he was going to explode.

The show doesn't need to be anaylized so deeply. Just listen to what is said and shown already and the rest will come together. Don't always trust that your seeing the whole event, I'm sure the writers are holding back a lot of the reasons for the event/explosion.

I so agree. I mean, he's sure that Peter's the bomb because he painted it (didn't he?), but I hate how he's making Peter out to be evil. It's incredibly annoying, and I'm really starting to hate him.

(By the way, I agree with the Radiation dude stuff now...It makes sense. But how's Nathan going to help him?)
