Nathan!

I just joined yesterday and i also called it! When Nathan sat down I got to point at my wife and say "I TOLD YOU SO"! Sweet episode and i cant wait till next weeks. This is the only show in about 6 years that I actually make time to see every week and would actually feel bad if i missed it.

Anyone notice how instead of Peter giving Claire the googly eyes and stuff, he was very friendly rather than lustful towards her?

Also, notice how he said "the sweetest kid in Texas", etc.?

Very subtle hints that he would be her uncle.

But how old does that make Peter and Nathan?[/b]

Peter is suppose to be 26. Nathan said that in The Fix. But I don't know how old Nathan is? I know in earlier episodes he has two small boys... hmmm its strange.

Nathan really was the most logical choice. I had thought of it, too.

I must say, it would have been a little weird for Peter to look "lustful" at Claire due to the age difference. I never thought of them as a couple, but they were my favorite duo!

It's NOT Nathan........It's the dad! She called and said, "you may not remember me, but our daughter just found me." She thought she was calling the father. She does not know that he is dead since they haven't kept in contact. When Nathan answers the phone Mr. Peterilli, sounding mature, she assumes that this is the father. I am 85% sure this is the answer. You guys are going to be so twisted. They made that way too simple. Gut check time boys! Copy this post b/c I'm right.

Nathan is the father....go watch the preview for the next episode again. Nathan's father being Claires father has to be as stupid as the "Peter is Sylar" theory.

I've heard that theory before (even in this post, actually). Though that would be an interesting twist, I still believe it is Nathan. Partly, just because I feel it is, and also I feel they wouldn't advertise something that strongly, only to have it be false.
Also, I'm pretty sure he's old enough to have a daughter that age. And we already know he's not much of one for fidelity in that aspect, if he was married even back then...

Still, I say that would be a most interesting twist if she was Nathan and Peter's sister...

Ok I was just thinking about something. Maybe Nathan isn't Claire's father. Maybe it's Nathan and Peter's father that's her real father. Didn't Nathan say he always had to clean up their father's messes. That Linderman had something to hold over him and Nathan was going to expose his father because he was tired of covering thing up for him? Then the father killed himself. Maybe Nathan had gone to Claire's mother to discuss the "Claire problem" his father had, and that's when the xxxx hit the fan.

This has to be it, having Nathan be the father would just be really messed up and Tim would have to make all of our minds, those who aren't insane, rest. I think Nathan and Peter's father is Claire's father. I also still think he killed himself testing his own powers if he is actually dead. Come on it would just be better. Otherwards this Arthurian legends Tone of "Mordrid fighting Arthur" and "Claire fighting against her corrupted politician father Nathan" too obvious and my repsonse would be "Wow, star wars already took that idea too come on man be original." I really think they have something good going here but I swear if Nathan really is the father I will just be deeply upset.

man, I didn't see that one coming.

When Nathan answered the phone, it was a scene right after Mr. Bennet was on the phone, so I was going with him as my gut reaction when the switched scenes. Besides the "hello?" on the phone sounded like Mr Bennet too.

I think some people read a little too far into things. I am pretty sure it is Nathan that is the father. Then again you never know.

Also in the preview for next week it mentioned somthing about how fate kept bringing Claires mom and Nathan back together. Don't you think that means hes the dad? And wouldin't you think with Nathan being as old as he is a little weird for his dad to have a 16 year old? I dunno. Just my thoughts.

BTW this is Jeff H.................He could have a father who is say..........55 years old if he's around 35! That would put him at 40 when Claire was born. A man in his prime hanging with anyone. maybe his son was watching his back and saw the apartment go up in smoke and rescued Claire's mom!

Nathan is the dad is too easy and nothing in this show has been up to this point. Why should they start now.
