I made a post a while back about how i thought Nathan and Claires mom already knew about their powers but someone thought it couldnt be possible. Claires mother just said how when she looked down and saw the roof, meaning she was in the sky, thought nobody could survive that fire. I think Merideth's power was still unstable at the time and accidentally blew up the house or something. Nathan then flew Merideth and himself away from the fire thinking Claire could no longer be alive. Since then Nathan hated his powers because "special powers" accidentally killed his daughter. Also this is why he told Peter to stop trying before he puts more people in danger.

This is going to be interesting, to see Nathan explaining to his wife... "I THOUGHT SHE DIED!!! I NEVER KNEW UNTIL NOW HUN!!!" (Or something like that!)

That is gonna be awesome! CAN'T WAIT!!!

There appears to be something that hasn't explained yet (or I just missed it):

Nathan + Merideth = Claire

Claire = step-daughter of HRG

HRG & Haitian try to capture Nathan, why?

Apparently, neither HRG & Nathan are aware of Claire's connections between the both of them; HRG doesn't know that Claire is Nathan's daughter, and Nathan does not know that daughter lives with HRG who also tried to capture Nathan in Vegas.

Ok I was just thinking about something. Maybe Nathan isn't Claire's father. Maybe it's Nathan and Peter's father that's her real father. Didn't Nathan say he always had to clean up their father's messes. That Linderman had something to hold over him and Nathan was going to expose his father because he was tired of covering thing up for him? Then the father killed himself. Maybe Nathan had gone to Claire's mother to discuss the "Claire problem" his father had, and that's when the xxxx hit the fan. Isn't Nathan kind of young to have a daughter that old?

I can't remember what her mother said when she called it was something like you may not remember me, but our daughter just found me. Wouldn't he remember the woman he had a baby with? It doesn't have to be Nathan "our" could be her and his father. She couldn't call his father could she? Maybe Nathan's father is the one that was there and flew her out. Just a thought.

This new revelation doesn't make much sense to be either b/c looking back at "six months ago" episode, that was supposedly Nathan discovered his ability to fly. If that's true, he couldn't have flown Meredith out of the fire.

Well, the last scene where Claire's adopted father is listening on the phone and waving to Claire before they show Merideth was designed to throw you off and think that her adopted father is her real father, before they show Nathan.

Merideth looked relatively young too...Nathan realistically only has to be in his late 20s or early-to-mid 30s to father a 16-year-old girl.

Well it could make sense if he was trying to not use his powers. Or maybe his abilities were not as strong before as they are now. I was talking to my girlfriend about that last night. I thought he had just discovered his flying abilities, but she stated that he was just surprised he used them when he did, causing his wife to become crippled.

It's also worth noting that Jessalyn Gilsig, who plays Meredith Gordon, is 35 or 36 in real life (Wikipedia gives her birth year as 1971,) while Adrian Pasdar, who plays Nathan, is actually older than that (born in 1965, so 41 or 42...guess I was off on the late 20s, early-to-mid 30s, even, although he's supposed to be in his 30s on the show.)
