Here's A Preview Of Episode 14 - Distractions

The clip can't be flipped because the watch wouldn't be present IF it was. As for the ring, maybe they put it on the other than just for the preview shooting. Either way, I'm 90% sure it's Nathan. The ONE THING we all need to remember that the voiceover IMPLIES that the shot is of Claire's father. It is not 100% directly saying the person shown is indeed Claire's dad.[/b]

It'd be pretty dumb if that WASN'T him because she made a phone call, that hand picked up the phone and then she said the thing about their daughter.

Tim Kring (member) had a point when he said that the ring on the other finger. If it was Nathan he probably would've had his wedding ring on that finger in the preview.

i think the previews tend to mislead us about the episodes.... i mean sometimes they even show clips from past episodes and from future episodes.... the show just does that all the time.... EVERY show does that all the time....

Definitely looks like the ring to me!!!!!!! I am begining to think that Nathan is indeed Claire's father!!!!!!!

The only thing it, is that the ring he is wearing, it's on his left hand, in the Preview, it's on the right!

It's quite a bulky ring, not like a wedding ring, so i'm guessing he would take it off when he goes to bed etc. so the finger which this ring is on could change frequently - when he wakes up or whatever he could simply just put it on another finger or which ever he felt like that morning when he was getting dressed - so I don't think which ever finger it's on is really a problem. We don't even need the ring - if you compare the hands carefully you can see that they are the same.

Can't it be possible that Sylar is biologically connected to Claire just that everybody knows nothing about it?...
Well, I'm expecting a twist that in the end Sylar is Claire's brother, cousin or something, and that they both just don't know....

Actually, Meredith was already on the phone when they showed her. She says, "Our daughter just found me." Then, the voiceover says, something about already meeting Claire's mom, "but wait until you meet Claire's daddy". As the last part of that statement is voiced, we see the hand/arm of the person in the pinkish shirt.

Also, the ring we see is not a wedding band, but a class ring. The watch is the big give-away -- it is the same as Nathan's. I'm 90% sure they are showing Nathan, but I'm not 100% convinced that we're seeing Claire's father = Nathan. We'll know within the next three episodes, though.

BTW, for all those folks who think we will meet Claire's dad tonight (don't know how that train of thought got started), we won't. Tim Kring says we won't see Claire's real father until "after February".

I also think it is nathan due to the fact that in previous eposides he has rolled his shirt cuff up one time... and his watch does look the same. but it would also make sence if linderman were the father from the fact that he has been talked about so much in other episodes and we are yet to see him in person!

HRG wears a wedding band.

I think Linderman would be Claire's Father because he is connected to most of the heroes and this way Claire will be part of that group!

how bout this just because they show him answering the phone doesnt mean claire mother was talking to him
