its been said before but i'll say it again, that little girl is NOT claire from the past. The PROOF: Matt USES a MOTOROLA RAZR to call his wife!!
[/b]
Sorry, but that's not proof. That's a prop. And prop departments often use items of time sequence with the story (for convenience or lack of availability or budget, etc).

Quote:
Asides from whats been said, to elaborate on the little girl that was rescued, (portrayed by Adair Tishler) her name is Molly Walker. No relation to a younger Claire.

No necessarily true. I'm not trying to defend my personal theory, but offer reasons not to draw concrete conclusions based on one item of information.

*IF* Molly Walker was/is indeed Claire, do we believe that an FBI/CIA/Project DNA guru (HRG) couldn't have her complete identity changed when he adopted her?

Also, Bennet could have gotten Claire "that fast" if he knew about her special powers (which seems logical) and was part of a government type project.

Remember, at the root we are dealing with a genetic/genome/DNA manipulation group here. That seems destined to point back to a secret government agency of some sort. Those folks are cloak-n-dagger -- and they make people disappear without a trace. Claire could indeed be an older Molly Walker.

Last point -- adopted children often have their names changed (for a variety of reasons).

I still say there should be a sticky Entitled, Read This Before Posting...and list all the theories people have had since episode one.....I understand that people come up with amazing ideas and want to expound on their revelations with the entire world, but doing so in a forum of possibly 1000 members/trolls can be annoying. If you have thought of something new and original that has to do with a long running story arc, it has more than likely already been said TO DEATH. This forum contains a search bar....please.....before posting these mind blowing theories click it and see how many others have said the same thing. You will find that the first occurance on here of the Matt is in the past and Molly is Claire theory came up as of its first viewing....episode 2 I think......please take this into mind in the future...and welcome to the forum!

He's not in a different timeline. If you watch the previews for the next episode entitled "Six Months Ago"...

Plus, the Haitian is a student, as mentioned by Ted. We've seen him in the same room as Matt as well as in the encounter with Sylar. He's the same age and has the same appearance. If he's a student now, he'd look considerably younger 12-13 years in the past.

Also Matt has a cell phone...12-13 years ago...they were bricks...not Razrs...if his timeline was in the past, I doubt the creators would let something like that slip.

Speculating on a MAJOR plot twist here...

When we first meet Matt, the time is years before the current time. The family that has been massacred is Claire's birth family. Claire is the little girl hiding in the closet -- the one Matt finds by telepathy.

That explains why Sylar goes to the FBI offices to kill her. Aubrey/Matt run Sylar off before he can kill her -- which may figure into the meaning of the "Save the cheerleader, Save the world" mantra.

Why? Sylar's powers are diminishing over time. He kills the other "heroes" off to regain those powers -- in an attempt to become "all powerful".

If this theory is true, then the entire series has been jumping time off and on for the first nine episodes.

I also have to point out that Greg Grunsberg has mentioned in an interview [can't remember which one, but it's really recent] that him and Milo [Peter] meet at about the 12-13 episode. They have some banter using their mind reading abilities [Peter is using Matt's power, duh]. I say that's proof enough.

I can't wait till that silly theory is put to rest.......course who knows....people will still find a way to justify it....hell, we have clearly seen Sylar's face and people are STILL saying he is freakin Peter!

I have to say...the theory about Sylar's powers diminishing is interesting. He wasn't able to affect Eden at all, even before she said anything...hmmm. Still don't think he eats brains or absorbs powers though.

This is a nice theory, but not plausible. Ted (radiation guy) was released to Homeland Security. Homeland security did not exist until 2002. All other timelines are current day (even close to the current time of the year). Claire and Molly are too far apart in years for this to work out.

It would be a cool thread though.

Great series, I'm addicted. B)

Well, with your superior powers of observation and your apparently endless time to read every post, on every thread, under every topic, A ) Tell us what is going to happen; B ) Dispel any erroneous theories and C ) Become Grand Pooba of Heroes fans and declare any speculation other than your own off limits for discussion?

Geez, dude. Lighten up. This is a forum about a fictional TV series. It's no biggie.
