Peters Main Power

Since watching chapter 7.

Were he was dreaming of samone's farther on his bed talking to him, and he goes I can fly.. Her farther asks to show him...... so peter flys out the window.

Then he wakes up...

Peter goes to tell Samone that he just dreamed about her father, yet she tells him that her father was talking about a conversation him and peter had about flying all over the world, peter replys back by saying that he didn't say that...

It is my reason ti beleive that he has the ability to Astral Project and Lucid Dream thease are his main natural given powers..

Think about it in his dreams he can fly without his brother beeing their.
Thats one thing you can do in Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection.

Peter has a conversation with Samone's father..
This is also somthing else you can do in the Astral Plane.

What does everyone think??? I know he has the ability to use other heroes powers as well, but Astral and Lucid are just his main power.

You could be right, however I'm not sure those are his MAIN powers. I think his main power is just the fact that he has such a strong connection to other "mutants" and their powers. He has that connection on that level but I think he also has a connection to ordinary humans too. . .but only humans that he loves. His love serves as a medium that connects him to those other people. One time Peter spoke of a time when Nathan was in an accident. Peter was miles and miles away, yet he knew it had happened right away. He just sensed it or knew it b/c of his connection with his brother. You could argue that he doesn't love his brother. . . . .but if you have brothers, you know how it really is. A second example is when he's talking to Simone's father, and he tells Peter that he loves him. Then Peter replies, "I love you too."
Peter just has a natural connection to others, especially those he loves. I personally think his ability to do the Astral Projection and Lucid Dreamin are part of his powers. . .whether they're his main powers or not doesn't matter. I think all his powers work together, and whether one stems from the other isn't cause for debate. It is interesting however to analyze what he is and may be capable of in the future.

I don't think it's either astral projection or lucid dreaming.

It was a dream, so he wasn't projecting his mind to the dying man's room. It was a dream of the time before he quit his job. If the dream was lucid then he would have known it was a dream *while* he was dreaming it. It's not about controlling your dream, it's about knowing it *is* a dream.

He didn't know the man had died, he only knew he had been thinking about him. He felt something had happed to his brother Nathan at the time he got into an accident. Neither is projection.

He probably just has empathy with people, like a lot of "natural" psychics claim they have. Only difference is when he's near someone with abilities he can copy them as well for a time. Now what would be *interesting* is if he could copy other abilities from the people around him.

Like say, martial arts from someone that knows them.

I don't know about all this lucid dream stuff, but I do know, always pay attention to the newspapers in this show .

The frontpage of the paper Peter is reading when he is talking to the old man, leaning on his bed reads.

"Weather clears for tonights solar eclipse" So this would suggest that this was a past event since the eclipse was in the first episode.

Maybe, the little indian boy was near Peter at the time? His power is absorbtion. I don't think he has another one. Either that, or the old man had the lucid dreaming power.

First off Peter could have only had a conversation with Charles prior to the first episode because after that he was in a coma. Also at this point there is very little reason to believe that Peter has any powers beyond his power to imitate the powers of others
