Could Sylar be Linderman?

Has anybody thought of the possibility that Mr. Linderman is actually Sylar. Niether of them has been seen, they have both been talked about since epi. 1. I don't think that peter is sylar. If he was, don't you think that future hiro wouldn't be so friendly towards him. The voice on the answering machine for mohinder's father was more of an older man.

On top of that, Linderman found niki and micah no matter where they were which would lead to the crimes of sylar. No matter where the other "heroes" where, sylar always found them.

I just think that peter is sylar is just a little bit of a stretch. If he was, future hiro would try and stop peter.

I think you may be right. I've thought it was DL or Niki for the longest time... Maybe Sylar is more than one person...? Or... Last night I was thinking that maybe Sylar takes over Niki's body sometimes. Notice how she had the symbol on her neck only when she was "Jessica"? Its all quite mysterious, lol. I'm really quite excited to see who Sylar is.

Linderman's the only constantly mentioned "bad-guy" figure we've seen mentioned in which we've never seen his face. So to me, it makes sense that it could actually be him.

You're right about that. Who exactly is Linderman, what exactly have they said about him in episodes?

Hmm I was thinking,random babbling. Would there be a reason that two characters have been so strongly mentioned but never really seen? Linderman has been mentioned strongly but has never been seen, same as Sylar, though we got a small glimpse.. in the third episode.. and he appears to be white and bearded?

but if that is really Sylar, could that potentially be what Linderman would look like? If hes in the mafia and everything, would that be why he wears a hat and high collar because he could be recognized, or does he wear that because he doesn't want to be indentified as Sylar?

LOL! I know the feeling. I've had this "Linderman might be Sylar" theory bugging me for a while. The person we saw though in episode 3, was just an extra I think. They hadn't cast Sylar at that point yet, so that's why they also specifically kept his face shaded.

LOL! The painting coincidence was one of the things that solidified my theory. I mean of ALL the people to buy THAT specific painting, the one that held the key to Claire's location, it just HAD to be Linderman. To me, that's too much of a coincidence. Just WAY too much.

woah... i never thought about it that much, but after reading this, it really seems to make sense. there's no such thing as coincidence. if he's not sylar, he's definitely in on it.
