What Happened To Sylar-victim's Brains?

i think that sylar had the ability to know how things works. He shows this whent he professor comes and he puts the clock to his ear and is able to tell him what is wrong with it.

I believe what he does is once he kill someone he is able to figure out how their brains work and grant them certain powers. He then fixes himself so that he also can reproduce this power. And if this is the case then he would be able to control certain aspects of hs brain allowing him to reproduce powers from other people.

I agree. Isn't Sylar's whole power "understanding what makes people tick"? I don't think he's absorbing or eating or anything, I think by extracting the brains he's just studying them like the inside of his clocks. Once he figures out how their brains work, he can make the change in himself. He had all those brains in that creepy apartment of his, which also supports the theory he's just studying them.

By the way, at the end of todays episode it looked like he shot that Eden chick in the head with her gun. Wouldn't that affect him taking her brain? Or maybe she shot herself so he couldn't get it. I wasn't too sure by the scene.
