Sylar has telekinesis. He is able to split apart cells in order to remove the tops of the skulls of the heroes he kills. This same ability can be used to knit together his own cells. It is not the same as Claire's ability. It is more like the perfect pressure bandage or tourniquet. It stops the bleeding, and allows the cells to rejoin and repair as fast as normally possible.
