Peter Vs Sylar

If there'd be a fight, Peter would go down. He doesen't even know Sylars powers, and Sylar knows how to use his. Peter wouldn't. I think it would be dumb if Peter would kick Sylars ass just like that.

Couple of things...

1) I don't think Peter can just take the powers of others and keep them. He was trying to fly in Episode 3 I think, when he was standing on top of the monkey bars...he couldn't do it. The powers may stay with him for some time, but I don't think he can keep them

2) Yet, when he's around other heroes, I think he's capable of using his own ability when he has to. He doesn't have to rely on a chance activation of his powers like Matt, the cop. Case example...Episode 5 when he's at Isaac's...he concentrates after he sees brief glimpses of the completed painting...I think he was partially in control of his power then.

3) Also about Peter, you think he borrows more than powers? Afterall, he's not a painter, but he painted just as well as Isaac.

This is all assuming the writers haven't screwed up in continuity and consistency yet :P

Oh, Peter vs. Sylar would be interesting...but really predictable...I don't think it'll be anything as direct as that...but we'll see

Remember Issac could only do it when high though.
Peter did it when in a hospital bed.
Then was able to mimic Issac well.

So practice he gets better maybe? So him any Sylers 2nd fight he will have his powers perfectly.

And he may keep something of all the powers he has had in him. In hte comic book world that is what happens (rogue and such)

In regards to Peter getting more than powers as shown by the painting:

if you noticed the painting was finished as sorta a stick figure drawing and not in issac's style.

I do think that the fact that he didn't need to get high was interesting. Maybe when he has someone's powers they are stronger in him...kind of a convex mirror, magnifying an image back at that object.

The extra picture on the Niki graphic novel was a picture of Peter throwing locker doors. my guess, this is the first picture in the comic/painting block. it shows him fighting sylar with sylar's power. epic battle!!!!

in hindsight, i might not have said this, because it'll just make some weird point for the stupid peter=sylar people. HE ISN'T!!!!!

Doesn't Peter have his scar before he meets Hiro..? It seems like Hiro talks to Peter (I almost didn't recognize you without your scar) like he has never seen Peter without it...
So that epic battle must not include Hiro...?

well from the looks of yesterday's episode - sylar is definitly on the move and not wasting anytime. We know that there is going to be trouble at the high school with clair - we'll all figured out that peter is going to go to her there.

But here is an interesting theory....

Sylar and Peter could be the best showdown in heroes to come. Why? Simply because peter absorbs powers - therefore he would absorb every single one of sylars powers.

So it is my thought that peter would ultimately lose - just due to the fact that he would not know how to use all of this sudden rush of power(s). But it would be an interesting faceoff at the meeting between peter and claire.

But it also could be that peter could gain the upper hand - absorbing claire's power while sylar is around. But we also know sylar can survive a number of gun shots...

So who knows....

Peter absorbs powers, but seemingly he is an empath too,

What do you think will happen if Peter not only absorbs Sylar his powers, but also his feelings. Which could result in Peter getting like Evil in some way.

I made a post earlier reffering to the painting that has been seen in the preview, of Peter not looking so friendly but more evil.

Or maybe he can. What if he comes in contact with Niki. He would absorb her powers and have a controling alter-ego. Which may cause him to know that he absorbs powers, and he could get power hungry. Which in turn may make him be Sylar. Just a theory, but you never know
