| The NBC HEROES site has the slowly-blinking text, and a current theme is, "Save the Cheerleader...Save the World." That doesn't necessarily mean Claire, does it? I guess they wouldn't refer to Jackie, though. Does that mean Claire is the key to saving the world (at least this time), and if she's not saved, then in the HEROES 'verse, people are doomed? Is that the mantra for the rest of the season? Related: I adapted the "scroller" script and added the logo, just for fun:[attachmentid=72] |

| Yeah, i think that Claire is the only one who is in serious danger as of now, given that he father will be after her so the message is to save her. Also, i think that since Peter's power is absoprtion, Claire will have to be present to stop Sylar. Because if Sylar is as tough as he appeared to be, then the Heroes will need Claire on their team. I just can't wait to see some fights happen now that I saw Hiro with his sword strapped to his back. ^_^ |

| Oooooooooooooh, MAN! Did I just have a goofy Clive Barker flash! Claire's brain is the source of her power, right? Sylar takes brains. What if his absorption of her brain triggers her powers into regenerating her body? Using the available nutrients? I.E., rebuilding Claire literally out of Sylar's body, like a cute teenage chestburster?. Blechhhh..... Whatever triggers the nuclear blast, Clair is the only one capable of turning it off. Say it was a reactor in overdrive, for example. Only Clairew can live long enough to enter the crucial area and stop the chain reaction. If Claire dies in Odessa, then she won't be there in NYC to shove the damping rods back into place. |

He wanted to instigate that. She may also be crucial to some future event, but I like the above better. | |
