| ok ive only just seen the last episode of season one so please dont ruin it for me as this is the only show i have never cheated on. though i do intend to download season 2 asap! so... (im sure youve had this discussion milions of times by now but please entertain me) why did peter need nathan to fly him up? which mainly leads me to... is there any reason peter could not control the nuclear power (teds) and the flying power(nathans) other than to aid the plot? other questions i have are irrelevent to people who have seen season 2 i assume.... but can you just tell me... s.2 as good as s.1...?.....? x

"why did peter need nathan to fly him up?" maybe the strain of contrlolling ted's power prevented peter from having the concentration needed to use nathan's flying power. alternate answer: to get away from any cities that might get devastated. "is there any reason peter could not control the nuclear power (teds) and the flying power(nathans) other than to aid the plot?" i think he couldn't control it for the same reason Ted couldnt control it himself when he first manifested it. sylar seems to be more able to intuitively become instantly proficient at the powers he aquires than peter. "s.2 as good as s.1?" no. but i watched all of s.2 before i saw any of s.1, and s.2 was plenty to get me hooked. s.2 was excellent, but s.1 was insane.

Well I loved S2 but I think we felt it was not as good as the first season simply because the writers went on strike so they had to condense everything into 11 episodes. But if we had the full season I have no doubt that it would've been as good as the first season if not better.

Season 2 sucked in every way known to mankind except that Nathan let his hair grow longer and shaved on Episode 4 and stayed that way the rest of the season(I think he looks A LOT sexier now than he did in Season 1)then in Episode 11 he reunited with Peter, just to get shot later(which REALLY pissed me off since he's my favorite),but that was about all that is worth mentioning(H.R.G. getting shot in the eye and killed is the closest thing to what I just mentioned). So,if you know what's good for you, stick to Season 1,buy the DVD set as I did,and wear the DVD's down to where the“Dual Layer”part of the DVD's becomes“Single Layer”from watching them so much(as mine have done),then you'll be doing just fine and you'll be happy with all of it-Jen Pasdar

i know i keep sharing this, but i watched all of Volume 2 before i watched Volume 1. i bring this up again because Jen Pasdar reminds me of one of the wierdest experiences of watching this show back-asswards: Nathan Petrelli Nathan Petrelli was totally creeping me out in the first few episodes of volume 2. you have to understand, i knew NOTHING about this show other than that i had seen an excitable asian man from the show on TV a lot the preceding year. so, before he shaved the beard, i was nearly certain that Nathan was a super-powered pedophile. Then, when Volume 2 concludes and i start renting season 1 DVDs (i'm buying that set too, Jen) i was shocked at this new Nathan Petrelli i was seeing. maybe thats why i identify with P-double so much, i felt like i was going through amnesia too. but, sorry, i just don't see how season 2 sucked in every way known to man. i'm not trying to argue, i just felt like i should write that before i clicked 'Post Reply.'
