What is different?

You might have already discussed this but in the episode five years gone when hiro and ando go into the future mohinder said that peter was given the message by hiro to save the cheerleader but in that future the bomb went off. So what was different about the present heroes that caused peter to ultimately not blow up NY???

He would have blown up NYC if Nathan hadn't stepped in.

He still exploded but Nathan managed to get him away.
Is that what you meant?

no i mean the reason they were able to stop the explosion was bcos hiro came back to tell peter on the underground but in that episode mohinder says that that did happen but it the bomb still went off in that future even though hiro had warned peter already

him about - Save the cheerleader......

The future that F-Hiro was from would have changed when Peter exploded
away from NY, preventing the disaster. I think before that it would have
stayed the same, maybe with slight variations because of Hiro's time meddling.
