Why didn't Peter fly away by himself?

In the finale, why didn't Peter fly away by himself?
Maybe Ted's power weakened him so much that he
could not do it. Post your theories here. :001_smile:

My guess is that he can only use one power at a time... Kinda stupid... but possible...

I think Teds power made it too hard to fly, since he was try so hard to cotrol it...does that make sense?

He said "I can't control it... I can't do anything." I guess the power overload was making him unable to control any of his powers.

Yeah, even Ted had trouble controlling it. So with that and
trying to control all those other powers to, he must have been
totally drained.

I think the writers just wanted to make it more dramatic by having Nathan come to the rescue lol.

I dont know, it seemed like everything was set up from the start and then the ending just seemed a bit lacking to me. I thought it needed to be more apparent that Peter couldn't use his powers or something. I was upset at how easily Sylar was killed, Hiro didn't come at him that fast, but since he obviously didn't die I'm guessing he let Hiro do it. I don't know.
