Ando says: Hiro is beeing missing for 5 weeks.
This states that Hiro skipped 5 weeks of his life in Japan
and reapered instantly in NY 5 weeks later.
When Hiro and Ando travels 5 years into the future
Hiro And Ando should have skipped 5 years of their lives so that future's "reality" is caused by Hiro and Ando missing (Not taking any action/interaction ).
So Hiro meeting with himself and Ando beeing dead are imposible facts.
see what i mean? that is the Author using two diferent criteria for the exact same case.
Some of you would say: yes but Hiro got back to his time at the end of the episode 20, and that makes it posible for him meeting with himself after all.
i then say: Hiro got back to his time the first time too. that means that someone else should have picked up the phone and says that Hiro And Ando were missing, or saying that they went to america 5 weeks ago, or any other explanation, but it is Ando the one that answers the phone.
So the "reality" in which Ando picked up the phone got invalid "when hiro travels back, not before", it as a valid reality while hiro was in the future. When he get back he took Ando into his mission making that phone call imposible. |
hiro stepped out of the present for only a moment and saw his future. he immediately went back to the time he left so he could still in theory live out the events that lead to ando blasting him.
the reason he went AWOL in season one was because he didn't jump back to the time he left (5 weeks prior). he seems to have a better handle on his ability now.
