| the haitian seems to have a range to his powers... if peter grabbed claude and jumped off the building, got away from the haitian to the point that his powers were abled once more, he could then fly them both to safety. plus if he took them by surprise then he couldn't have concentrated his powers to the extent of stopping them. i don't know... i can only guess. |

| i think people are getting confused and looking too far into it. Yes in the future episode future hiro says he stabbed sylar and sylar regened and thats why he had to go back and tell peter to save the cheerleader... we all agree on this.. one thing i want you to remember is that this is the same hiro that went back in time to talk to peter and then came back to the time that this episode takes place. So all his memories of stabing and sylar regening are still with him... he is just expecting the world to be MUCH different then before he went to talk to peter.... which it isnt.... the only thing different is that clair is alive and sylar still doesnt have her powers... Let please remember that EVERYONE (execpt peter cause he knows it was actually him) thinks that SYLAR was the one who exploded in New York this is one of the main things hiro goes back to try and change.... he wants sylar to die so that he cant blow up New York. Lets get back on track.... We also see in the same episode that yes peter did save clair cause shes alive, yes the bomb did still go off (everyone thinks its sylar but it was actaully peter) and yes sylar is still alive but lets remember he is now alive POSEING as nathan(cause everyone thinks hes dead). My theory is that in THIS timeline (remember this timeline only exists in this episode) when peter goes to new york, sylar is there too but this time hiro cant find sylar (remember this is NOT the same hiro that goes back in time and REMEMBERS stabbing sylar) to stab him (which would kill him cause he doesnt have clairs powers) because sylar is out killing Nathan and the girl who worked for linderman that can change your preception of reality. This gives sylar the gift of flight and the gift changing your perception. Peter blows up.... the world somehow blames sylar.... peter and sylar both go into hiding untill this episode happends... So yes it all really does make sence its just really confusing... the key is that the hiro we see saying " i stabbed him but he regenerated" is the SAME hiro from the timeline that sylar killed claire and all his memories from that timeline are still in tacked. |

| If anyone watched Back to the Future series, they would understand. When you go to the past with the intention to alter it, you change the future. So future Hiro, travelled back in time to tell Peter to save the cheerleader. The moment that Claire was saved, it changed the future. The thing that changed was that Sylar never got Claires power. In the future he never had her regen power. There was still an explosion, but it was Peter who exploded. Thats another thing that was changed as a result of future Hiro's time travelling, because Sylar was the one was meant to blow up, but because future Hiro travelled back in time, he alterd the future. |

| It is easy to answer this question. In the original timeline, Sylar did kill Claire and steal her ability. He did regenerate when Hiro stabbed him. But when Future Hiro went back in time to warn Peter to "Save the cheerleader, save the world," a series of events unfolded where Sylar didn't steal her ability and a new timeline was created. Yet, for some reason, Future Hiro only has memories of the original timeline and none of the new one. Put it down to faulty writing.

| SYLAR DIDN'T REGENERATE IDIOTS. He went through surgery to heal him. Remember when the Candice Wilmer (the illusion girl) tells him he has stitiches.... |

It could also be argued that the last time we see F_Hiro, P_Hiro still isn't back in his own timeline, but that's a little much, lol. (Everyone in the future still thought the bomb was Sylar too) | |
