Natural Selection or Linderman Selection..?

It seems to me that there's gotta be some kind of weird breeding experiment going on in the world of Heroes....

Mrs Petrelli for one knows about Claire... who has two parents with powers right...?
Linderman knows about Micah.... who has two parents with powers....

*spoiler>>*in "the hard part" episode, Mrs Petrelli also says she knows about Linderman etc and DL and Jessica find that Linderman has always been surveilling them...which leads me to believe that Linderman had planned on getting DL and Jessica/Nikki together because he knew of their powers...



Linderman and Mrs P are both from the older generation, and both of them have powers (though we don't know what Mrs P's powers are yet....) Mrs P has also mentioned that there were more of them back in the old days... so that kinda leads me to think that they have some kind of secret sect or something... It reminds me a little of Stephen King's Firestarter...

Could it be that the older generation (at least some of them) knew what was happening... and decided to play old school genetics and sort of "cross-breed" in an attempt to create more super babies? hmmm....
I've called it Linderman Selection because of the news report on the "Linderman Act", i have a feeling that he, like the Kingpin, is behind quite a lot of things....

anybody else got some thoughts on this ?
