The Exploding Man Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 9	Their original powers are not similar, Peter being an Empath and Sylar having some sort of Mechanical Realisation, but they have become similar. I have heard many times (once by the writer of Heroes ,Tim Kring) that they are opposites of the same thing which would make sense seeing how they both take powers but in very different ways.
