| Did anyone else notice that the watched is stopped at "seven minutes till midnight"? I havent seen it posted anywhere but i thought it was pretty significant. It looked like while Mohinder's dad was being strangled, the assailant(Sylar), banged his wrist and the watch against the window of the cab. So im guessing that "seven minutes till midnight" is the exact time Mohinder's dad was killed. I dont think it will have any further significance, but nonetheless, pretty nifty. |

| What do mean, 'why does he keep wearing it?' we only saw sylar twice in the last episode and one of the scenes was in the past. i dunno, maybe it's just something that he can remember. also, i heard on other forums that 'seven minutes to midnight' is sorta close to the time with something like an apocolypse or something like that. |

Let me first say that I am not ruling out the fact that Mohinder may have powers. I support that. I believe the dreamwalker kid, kind of existing in all places at once, is the power behind the poor theory that Mohinder has a 'retrocognitive' force, especially considering that Mohinder got to witness a discussion between his parents that he never actually witnessed and his father's murder which he didn't witness either; the dreamwalker brought him along (Mainly to see the time of death of his father and establish 'dreamwalker' as a writer's device) I don't believe that Mohinder was exhibiting a special power in the father death scene. I'd put my money on the fact that the whole attention to the watch's time at his father's death is a device from the show's writers to foreshadow the fact that Mohinder is going to link up with Hiro, and try to go back in time to save his father from being murdered. Therefore, the exact time and location of his father's death, needs to foreshadowed so as to not be jolting to the average viewer and heighten anticipation of conflict / time alteration. (My theory currently being that Mohinder's father possibly knows some weakness or important information relating to Syler, or some other powerful threat). P.S. Here's my big hope for the show. Mr. Big bad glasses, Claire's dad, I hope he ends up being a good guy. Let me explain.... The real world can't be as nice as comic books. The real world can't have a Prof. Xavier, and what-not. What if an even greater threat looms after the first big story arc finishes, and Hiro goes back in time and sets Claire's dad down the road of being a supposed bad guy, therefore thrusting certain key players into the mix who wouldn't have joined willingly. What if he'd like to be the good guy, but for the sake of the world he has to force people to become super-human? People who were never going to willingly flip on their super hero switch by themselves. What if, for the sake of the world, he has to knowingly sacrifice that orphaned experiment, the experiment who turned out to be his beloved Claire? What if he had to kill Claire's parents, to save the world? I hope the show goes that far in complexity. Thank God I'm in the videogame industry, or this show would be driving me nuts! | |

| Have any of you noticed that they're drawing a lot of attention to Sylar's watch? I don't think this is just to identify him as the person who killed Chandra. First of all, the watch is cracked. It looks like it isn't running. In episode 8, right before they show Sylar pull the cup towards him, they play a loud ticking sound, like a watch. I think they're trying to foreshadow that it means something. What do you guys think about it? |
