My friend and I (Erulai) have been discussing this and between me and him
we relized that ted is the nuclear explosion that hiro sees in the future.. Its caused either by sylar killing him or by sylar stealing Claires and Teds powers and explodes.. regens and walks away.. what do you think.. save the cheerleader save the world.. Props go to Erulai.

First of all, if you look at the big post about Sylar's powers, most of the things he does can be explained by telekinesis. Also, while Claire can regen and all that, we have little reason to believe that she could be blown to pieces and live. Granted, apparently her brain doesn't need to be fully functional for her to regen, but we haven't seen her regrow major body parts. I'm pretty sure if someone cut off her head, she would die.

There can be only one.

That makes me wonder, if Ted can really blow up like an atomic bomb would he still be alive? Would he sorta be like the Human Torch who can bust in flame but resume his initial form afterword?

I'm pretty sure he's the one responsible for the explosion. I guess we'll see how it plays out. Something tells me he wouldn't able to survive.

I think Ted might be the atomic bomb too. I'm not sure if he could blow up and live but he can definitely send out a lot of radiation so I'm thinking he can probably get something to blow up but not himself. But we really don't know a lot about him so I guess we'll have to see.
