When Sylar was with Candice in central America why did he try to kill her. With his power not working due to the Shanti virus the hunger that caused him to become a serial killer should have disappeared. Thoughts?

He was unable to use his powers, he wanted to see if he could take hers and use it. It wasn't about the hunger, it was about seeing whether or not he still had any power left.

Methodical : no During the eclipse in season 3 , when everyone was powerless , Sylar said: "Normally everything seemed to make sense..." , he also said he liked the feeling and he didn't need to have powers, his hunger was gonerz.. So that's some sharp thinking there Ajp0094! Plothole number X ;D (just adding this to annoy some peeps that don't believe in heroes' plotholes"

But at the same time, Sylar hadn't looked at the other side of the coin until season 3. The idea of this reminds me indirectly of an alcoholic: while it'd take a lot to fight the addiction, you gotta choose to do so first. Probably a bad analogy, but I think I could argue that this isn't necessarily a plothole.

Sylar doesn't need "the hunger" to want to be really powerful. Especially if he remembers how awesome being powerful is. Don't be a retard.

Well after murdering so much people and having so much psychological issues is not that strange that he could kill someone even with out his hunger. It was more out of habit thing. When you do something a lot you could suddenly do it for no reason.
