Old question still bugging me about Kensei

There's something I can't quite get over, and if anyone has some insight, I would really appreciate it!

Remember back when we learned that Kensei, aka Adam, had killed Hiro's father? And then remember how we learned that Kensei had supposedly been locked up by the company for 30 years? How does that work? According to that time line, Adam should have been locked up when he was murdering Kaito.

And as long as I'm on the subject, here's another problem I have:

Matt Parkman locked his father in his childhood apartment in season two, and makes it seem like he's never escaping. Then in season three, he's back with no fanfare. Ideas?

Erm, Adam was locked up in level 5 together with Peter.
Peter got his powers back by don't taking his pills and escaped with Adam through the walls.
After that when they got chased at the hospital (after healing Nathan with Adam's blood, they caught Peter, but Adam ran away. Then few days/weeks later he killed Kaito.
Meanwhile Peter was locked in a container not remembering anything (stupid Haitian ). When Peter and Adam met later, Adam helped Peter healing his memories, and together they went to find the virus. Adam killed that woman with her shotgun and drew the heroes symbol in blood on her picture. Same as he did before with Kaito while Peter was still with those Irish guys and girl.
Later in Primatech Hiro showed up and said that Adam had killed his father.
This is the right chronological order in my eyes.

As for Maury.. Maury trapped Matt and Nathan in some illusion where they were fighting each other without knowing. Then Matt used his power (same as his dad's) to release them from the illusion. I'm guessing Maury did the same thing to himself but maybe it took some time.

I'm going to have to watch those episodes again. Because I thought for sure that Kaito had already died, then later Adam and Peter were locked up together and Adam told Peter at that point that he had been locked up for 30 years. That's where my confusion was. But he could have been lying...

Yes, that is correct. Kensei was killed by Adam AFTER Peter helped him escape. I can see where someone could get easily confused though. There were a lot of time changes on that season. They showed Adam and Peter escaping on the flashback episode to show how Peter ended up in Ireland. Time is a tricky thing when it comes to Heroes.

2 old things bugging me:

1) In series 1, when Matt and Audrey are at the hospital where Molly is. Sylar attempts to take Molly and Audrey and Matt give chase. Sylar telikinetically makes Audrey put her own gun to her head, and Matt unloads his gun on Sylar, knocking him down. How on earth did Sylar survive this when he did not have cellular regeneration at this stage? All I can think of is that he telikinetically stopped the bullets, but it really looked as though the bullets hit him and knocked him down... :S

2) In the episode INTO ASYLUM, how did Sylar get out of Danko's car and onto the rooftop so fast?? Only a teleporter could do this. Has he taken Rachel Mills' ability? Last we saw of her she was working for Danko's operation, staking out Claire's house. Maybe Sylar got to her....

Any insight?

2) sylar can NOT teleport, that's confirmed
how he did it ? no friggin clue

Does Sylar have the ability to make people see what they want? I think that's how he did it. If you look at the shot of him on the roof he's absolutely drenched and that would only come from standing there for longer than a moment. E.G. he was standing there while in the car. Just my theory.

Good theory. The only indication that Sylar may posess this ability was in Series 2, when Sylar killed Candace and tried to take her ability. But Sylar had the Shanti virus and was unable to use it. Perhaps once he was cured the illusion ability was still with him....

Yeah, I've been wondering that. It seems like the power is something along those lines. We've been told he can't teleport and I'm quite sure he doesn't have telepathy, he'd be using it more freely. However the writers have said he may have gained other powers we aren't aware of. I think it'll mainly be cleared us next episode.

As for the original questions Wheninrome's timeline seems pretty accurate to me. If you remember Wildharpies it was later in the series we see Adam and Peter in the cell together but that was in an episode called '4 Months Ago' - it was all the events leading up to that point in the volume. Adam killed Kaito after he escaped with Peter.

And as for Maury, the writers said he escaped Level 5 along with all the other criminals at the start of season 3. I guess after Matt overpowered him that's where he was taken.
