| i want sylor to do the same thing to peter that he did with claire. that is absorbing peter's giant ability so he can collect abilities without eating brainz. it would have ruined the plot in previous seasons but would be fine in this one |

| Yeah it would totally rule out the need for his power. And its Peter, come on. Unless he gets his hands on the future peter, then the present peter would not be affected. And would then gain the powers from Sylar. Wouldn't that be insane! |

| Sylar's ability comes with the price of a hunger for more. Peter's comes with his barely-there control and the fact that he can't just not take someone else's ability. Claude called it empathy. He has Sylar's ability now and along with that ability, the hunger for more abilities. The whole point of this is to show how power corrupts and ultimate power sometimes comes wiht a price that simply not worth it. It wouldn't make for a good show if the villian and the hero had the same ability- although whose who is beginning to come into question! |

| Now with Peter having Sylar's ability we can see that he still has the hunger to kill. This should be interesting how it plays out. |

| Maybe this is the first step for Hiro to become the bad@$$ Hiro from the future. I am kinda of getting tired of whimpy Hiro. |

| What I want to happen to Syler: The events of seasons 2-3 are hallucinations that Sylar experiences as he bleeds to death on the ground after getting slabbed by Hiro. Sylar dies, and his corpse is eventually hauled to the morgue and stuffed in a freezer. Then begins season 4 ...

| i believe it would be interesting if in the end sylar would end up saving the world and not peter. i think peter is too much the type of a emotional person so maybe if he has to take some drastic measures he won't be able to onthe other hand sylar is able to take actions even against his will |

My understanding is that sylars ability is quite similar to peters when he chooses to use his ability empathically. (not really relevant to this thread but who was sylars childs mother?) | |
