What? Who said Ando has powers. If there is a spoiler source it should be posted in the spoiler section. If this is just theory, what makes you think so?

And yah I agree, Monica can take care of herself. Its Maya whos in a bit more trouble.

maya's not in trouble at all, people surrounding her would be blasted and she's always so innocent.her power cannot be controled by herself, I guess her power primarily planedly belong to only one, but they're twins so she lose control without her brother.
why ando need power? I don't think so, he need to be a common man then witness the whole story.

Sylar seemed to resist the effect of Maya's power even tho being hurt ( he is a tough bastard) I would say with out her bro's intervention she would have killed Sylar but he took it well.

I like that Ando is the ordinary guy that has and awsome tale to tell.
